MEETING TO ORDER <br />Chairman Gene Shannon called the meeting to order with the following <br />members present: Sharon "Pepper" Toussaint, Don Eckert, Steve Risher, <br />Alon Wieland and Gene Shannon. <br /> <br />2. MINUTES APPROVED <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mrs. Toussaint moved and Mr. Risher seconded that the <br />minutes of the previous meeting be approved as written. <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />3. AGENDA, Order approved <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mrs. Toussaint moved and Mr. Risher seconded to approve the <br />order of the agenda as printed. Motion carried. <br /> <br />4. CONTRACT, Far~o Community Health Center approved <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Risher moved and Mr Wieland seconded to approve the <br />contract with Fargo Community Health Center for services <br />provided in West Fargo and the rural areas of Cass County <br />for 1992. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />5. DRUNK & DRUGGED DRIVING AWARENESS PROCLAMATION, Week of December 7-13 <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Risher moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to proclaim <br />December 7-13, 1991, as Drunk & Drugged Driving Awareness <br />Week, and authorize the Chairman to sign a proclamation as <br />read by Mr. Risher and placed on file in the County <br />Commission Office. On roll call vote, motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />6. APPOINTMENT, District Court Judicial Referees as Ma~istrates <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Risher moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to confirm the <br />appointments of Jack Dietz and Janice Benson-Johnson as <br />Magistrates for Cass County from November 24-26, 1991; and <br />that pursuant to North Dakota Administrative Rule 20, the <br />Cass County Commission confirms the temporary appointment <br />of the Judicial Referees of District Court as Magistrates <br />if appointed by one of the County Judges of Cass County and <br />approved by the presiding District Judge of the East <br />Central Judicial District. The commission confirms and <br />authorizes the delegation of any duties or authority to the <br />Magistrates allowed under Administrative Rule 20. This <br />confirmation will remain effective until December 31,1992. <br />On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br />
