COMMISSIONERS MEETING WITH PORTFOLIO DEPARTMENTS, Continuation <br />Mrs. Toussaint said she finished reviews with her portfolio <br />departments, and Mr. Shannon encouraged the other commissioners to <br />meet with their respective department heads. <br /> <br />21. CORRESPONDENCE <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mrs. Toussaint moved and Mr. Eckert seconded to receive and <br />file correspondence outlined by the secretary as follows: <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />letter from Andy Hagle, President of the <br />Association of Counties thanking Cass County for <br />at the NACo conference in Salt Lake City, which <br />Risher and Wieland attended; <br /> <br />North Dakota <br />their support <br />Commissioners <br /> <br />letter from Robert G. Hoy, Ohnstad Twichell Law Offices, saying <br />the Alice Brakke v. Kensrud and Cass County lawsuit was <br />dismissed by District Court; <br /> <br />City of Casselton's position on regional solid waste management <br />board; <br /> <br />letters from Cass County Historical Society dated July 17 and <br />July 29 regarding building permits and 1992 budget request <br />(budget information referred to County Auditor); <br /> <br />three letters from North Dakota Department of Transportation <br />regarding: 1) bridge inspection reports; 2) request for maps <br />of numbered county road system; 3) information on Region 8 <br />County Road Advisors' Workshop scheduled for October 23rd and <br />24th in Rapid City (copies of all information referred to County <br />Engineer); <br /> <br />request from Border States Paving, Inc. regarding payment for a <br />grading project; <br /> <br />notice of Fargo Planning Commission hearing at 9:00 AM, August <br />14, 1991, on a petition for special use permit for a 40-unit <br />apartment complex south of 2nd Avenue South, east of 8th Street; <br /> <br />Officer's reports for June; <br /> <br />22.
