Minutes--May 6, 1991 662 <br /> <br />Mr. Steiner said AT&T will provide the initial training for the core <br />users, but system administrators have to be trained off-site at an <br />AT&T training center. <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Risher moved and Mr. Eckert seconded to authorize the <br />Chairman of the Board of Cass County Commissioners to sign <br />the AT&T Purchase/Maintenance Agreement number 170250, <br />which will allow Cass County to install the AUDIX Voice <br />Information System utilizing AT&T's current Try It/Buy It <br />campaign. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />15. ROAD DEPARTMENT, Bid award for C26 pavin~. bituminous distributor. <br />equipment and annual supplies. as recommended by County En~ineer <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mrs. Toussaint moved and Mr. Risher seconded to accept the <br />low bid of Border States Paving in the amount of $1,798,540 <br />for bituminous surfacing and incidental items on Cass <br />County Road 26 from State Highway 18 east 11.3 miles to <br />Gardner. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Eckert moved and Mr. Risher seconded to accept the low <br />bid of Swanston Equipment, Inc. in the amount of $48,348 <br />for bituminous distributor. On roll call vote, motion <br />carried unanimously. <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mrs. Toussaint moved and Mr. Risher seconded to accept the <br />low bid of Hall GMC of Fargo for two tandem axle trucks in <br />the amount of $98,974. On roll call vote, motion carried <br />unanimously. <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Risher moved and Mr. Eckert seconded to accept the low <br />bid of Dakota Truck Equipment for four tandem axle trailers <br />in the amount of $50,892. On roll call vote, the motion <br />carried unanimously. <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Eckert moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded to accept the <br />low bids of H. V. Johnston Culvert Co. in the amount of <br />$25,843.20 and $9,625.40 and the low bid of Fargo Culvert <br />Company in the amount of $2,091.60 for structural plate <br />pipe, pipe arches and corrugated metal culverts. On roll <br />call vote motion carried unanimously. <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Eckert moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to accept all <br />bids as outlined by the engineer for annual requirements <br />and equipment rental, and instruct the engineer to use the <br />bids to the best advantage of Cass County. On roll call <br />vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />16. IBM IMAGING SYSTEM, Update <br />Commissioner Risher and Mike Steiner updated the Commission on the IBM <br />imaging system which they viewed last week in Fayette County, <br />Kentucky. They were very impressed with the system and the work <br />accomplished in that county. Deanna Kensrud, Register of Deeds, also <br />traveled to Kentucky to view the system and see how it could be used <br />in her department. <br />
