On roll call <br /> vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />10. <br /> <br />ROAD REPAIR ANNUAL DISBURSEMENTS, City of Page <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Sondrall moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded to authorize <br /> payment of road and street repair funds to the City of Page for <br /> $447.00. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />10. <br /> <br />UTILITY PERMIT, Granted to U.S. West Communications MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Sondrall moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded to grant a <br /> utility permit to U.S. West Communications to cross Cass County <br /> Road 20. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />11. <br /> <br />CHILD SUPPORT IV-D, Cooperative agreement signed with State <br />State Department of Human Services withheld funding as of November 1st <br />for operation of Fargo, Minot and Bismarck regional child support <br />enforcement units, according to States Attorney Robert Hoy. <br /> <br />A large number of counties throughout the state sent representatives <br />to a meeting in Bismarck about two weeks ago to revise contract <br />language in the Cooperative Agreements so they would be more fair to <br />counties in the region. <br /> <br />A revised contract came in today's mail, and Mr. Hoy sa~d he is <br />satisfied with it. He credited the county coordinator (former child <br />support enforcement director) who played a large part in getting this <br />resolved, as well as the regional child support staff here. <br /> <br />Mr. Hoy said five of the eight regions received their funding even <br />though they had not signed cooperative agreements either. He <br />recommends signing the agreement today, but said counties need to <br />remain vigilant during the next legislative session and beyond. <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mrs. Toussaint moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to authorize <br /> the Chairman of the Cass County Commission to execute and <br /> sign duplicate originals of the child support enforcement <br /> cooperative agreement with the State Department of Human <br /> Services. <br /> <br /> <br />
