Minute.'k;--November 6, 1990 555 <br /> <br />REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />NOVEMBER 6, 1990 <br /> <br />MEETING TO ORDER <br />Chairman Gene Shannon called the meeting to order with all members <br />present as follows: Oscar Sondrall, Alon Wieiand, Sharon "Pepper" <br />Toussaint, Don Eckert and Gene Shannon. <br /> <br />MINUTES APPROVED MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Eckert moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded that the <br /> minutes of the previous meeting be approved as written. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> <br />AGENDA AMENDED, E-911 & joint dispatch center committee removed from <br />consent agenda for further discussion <br />Mr. Eckert didn't think it was necessary to include the Model Project <br />Coordinator on the committee to review E-911 and joint dispatch center <br />with the city of Fargo. The Chairman suggested removing this item <br />from the consent agenda and discussing it later on today's agenda. <br />All were in agreement to amend the consent agenda in this manner. <br /> <br />DATA PROCESSING MANAGER, Staff commendation letter <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Sondrall moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded to send a staff <br /> commendation letter to Data Processing Manager Mike Steiner as <br /> read by the Chairman· On roll call vote, motion carried <br /> unanimously. <br /> <br />RIVERSIDE CEMETERY ASSOCIATION, Fees to be discontinued MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Sondrall moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded to send a letter <br /> to Neal S. Bradburn, Executive Vice President of Riverside <br /> Cemetery Association, saying Cass County will discontinue <br /> maintenance payments commencing in 1991 since purchase of most <br /> grave sites at Riverside Cemetery include perpetual care. On <br /> roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />LOST INSTRUMENT BOND, Approved for Howard Hanson <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Sondrall moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded to authorize the <br /> County Auditor to issue duplicate check in the amount of $150.00 <br /> to Howard Hanson and cancel warrant #16380. On roll call vote, <br /> motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />COUNTY COORDINATOR, Computer equipment to be purchased MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Sondrall moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded to purchase an <br /> IBM PC and compatible printer from the contingency fund for <br /> installation in the office of the County Coordinator. On roll <br /> call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> <br />
