Eckert seconded to adopt the <br /> Vector Control Budget as presented. On roll call vote, <br /> motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />WEED CONTROL, Budget approved <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mrs. Toussaint moved and Mr. Eckert seconded to adopt the <br /> Weed Control Budget as presented· On roll call vote, <br /> motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />PERSONNEL DEPARTHENT, Payroll consolidated/budget approved <br />Personnel Director Geoff Riches proposed adding one secretary II <br />position in pay grade 9 because of the work load and new activities <br />planned for next year. He requested a new computer for th~s person. <br /> <br />Hr. Riches recommended consolidating all County payrolls to monthly <br />instead of some being bi-weekly. NOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Wieland moved and Hrs. Toussaint seconded that County <br /> payrolls be,. consolidated into monthly as opposed to a <br /> multitude of payrolls, the change to be effective <br /> January 1, 1991 with a 90-day grace period to allow for <br /> implementation. On roll call vote, motion carried <br /> unanimously. <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Hrs. Toussaint moved and Hr. Wieland seconded to adopt the <br /> Personnel Department budget with elimination of the copier <br /> line item since they will receive the one currently used in <br /> the Auditor's Office and with the budget annotation on <br /> payrolls. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />PLANNING, Budget approved MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Wieland moved and Mr. Sondrall seconded to adopt the <br /> County Planning budget as outlined. On roll call vote, <br /> motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />SENIOR CITIZENS, Levy approved MOTION, passed <br /> Hr. Eckert moved and Hfs. Toussaint seconded,to adopt the <br /> Senior Citizen budget as outlined at one mill with a budget <br /> annotation that the money is to be divided equally between <br /> the rural Cass and urban Cass groups· Cass County <br /> Commission will obtain contracts with both groups to handle <br /> the money and disperse it to the senior citizen clubs <br /> involved. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />STATES ATTORNEY, BudRet approved <br />There was discussion on the County paying license fees for attorneys. <br />A question was raised on how many people in the County this involves <br />and how many dollars. Suggestion was made to dea] with this prior to <br />final budget approval. <br /> <br /> <br />
