Commission Minutes--November 7, 2005 2997 Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Dakota-2006 employee health insurance coverage; Lease of property-Marvin and Carol Yonke lease of flood lot; Lease of property-Michael and Lori Ibach lease of flood lot; Cost Participation Agreement (32nd Avenue North Paving Project) with the City of Fargo, Beth EI Memorial Park, Fargo Hebrew Congregation Cemetery, Holy Cross Cemetery Association, Municipal Airport Authority of the City of Fargo and Cass County for the 32nd Avenue North paving project on the east-west avenue lying adjacent to the cemeteries, Cass County's share being $30,000; 14. RESOLUTION #2005-16, Condolence to William Thompson family MOTION, passed Mr. Wagner moved and Mrs. Sorum seconded to authorize the chairman to sign Resolution #2005-16 as follows: On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. RESOLUTION OF CONDOLENCE #2005-16 WHEREAS, the Board of Cass County Commissioners has learned of the death of William "Bill" Thompson of Page, North Dakota; and WHEREAS, William Thompson served on the Rush River Water Resource District Board from May 31, 1983 to the present time, as well as other local boards in the Page area. He was also Clerk of the Rich Township Board of Supervisors. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Commissioners of Cass County, North Dakota, does hereby express its condolences to the family of the late William "Bill" Thompson. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that this resolution be inscribed upon the permanent records of the proceedings of the Board of County Commissioners and a copy forwarded to his family. PERSONNEL OVERVIEW COMMITTEE, Ratify committee action of November 7.2005 MOTION, passed Mr. Wagner moved and Mrs. Sorum seconded to ratify Personnel Overview Committee action of November 7, 2005 to approve Food Stamp bonus payments to Social Service employees as outlined by Director Kathy Hogan's letter to the Personnel Overview Committee dated October 31, 2005. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. 16. SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT, Award for seat belt enforcement Chairman Vanyo said Cass County was one of four counties in the state honored by the North Dakota Department of Transportation (DOT) at the recent Association of Counties annual convention in Bismarck for achieving improved seat belt usage of more than 10 percent.
