<br />Commission Minutes--November 7, 2005 2996 <br /> <br />8. SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT, Purchase order for jail transport van <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Wagner moved and Mrs. Sorum seconded to authorize the chairman <br />to sign a purchase order for a 2006 Ford E350 Cargo Van from Luther <br />Family Ford to replace a current van, for a price of $21,875. On roll call <br />vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />9. PERMITS FOR RAFFLE, Approved for Chaffee Lions Club: Kindred Close Up <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Wagner moved and Mrs. Sorum seconded to approve a raffle permit <br />for the Chaffee Lions Club to be held on November 28, 2005, at the <br />Embden Cenex in Embden, North Dakota. On roll call vote, the motion <br />carried unanimously. <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Wagner moved and Mrs. Sorum seconded to approve a raffle and <br />bingo permit for the Kindred Close Up Club to be held on November 29, <br />2005, at the Kindred School in Kindred, North Dakota. On roll call vote, <br />the motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />10. ABATEMENT APPLICATIONS, Approved for Buffalo Farm Supply and Killoran <br />Partnership <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Wagner moved and Mrs. Sorum seconded that Abatement #4275, <br />#4276, #4277, #4278, and #4279 submitted by Buffalo Farm Supply and <br />Killoran Partnership be approved, as recommended by the director of <br />equalization and the local jurisdictions. On roll call vote, the motion <br />carried unanimously. <br /> <br />11. ND Recorders Information Network, Budaet adjustment approved <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Wagner moved and Mrs. Sorum seconded to amend the 2005 NDRIN <br />(North Dakota Recorders Information Network) budget by increasing the <br />computer line item by $20,000. On roll call vote, the motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />12. ROAD DEPARTMENT, Chairman to sian revised Federal Aid Proaram sheet <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Wagner moved and Mrs. Sorum seconded to authorize the chairman <br />to sign the revised 2006-2007 Federal Aid Program sheet as presented. <br />On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />13. CONTRACT APPROVAL, Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Dakota: leases of property: <br />32nd Avenue North pavina project cost participation <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Wagner moved and Mrs. Sorum seconded to approve the following <br />contracts submitted by respective department heads, subject to state's <br />attorney approval, and authorize the chairman to sign: On roll call vote, <br />the motion carried unanimously; however, Mr. Vanyo abstained from <br />voting on the contract with Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Dakota. <br />
