<br />Commission Minutes--November 7,2005 2995 <br /> <br />REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />NOVEMBER 7, 2005 <br /> <br />1. MEETING CALLED TO ORDER <br />Chairman Darrell Vanyo called the meeting to order at 3:30 PM with all members present as <br />follows: Scott Wagner, Vern Bennett, Ken Pawluk, Darrell Vanyo and Robyn Sorum. <br /> <br />2. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br />Robyn Sorum led the Pledge of Allegiance at this time. <br /> <br />3. MINUTES APPROVED <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Wagner moved and Mr. Pawluk seconded that the minutes of the <br />previous meeting be approved as written. Motion carried. <br /> <br />4. AGENDA, Order approved <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Wagner moved and Mrs. Sorum seconded to approve the order of the <br />agenda with the following additions: 1) contract for 32nd Avenue North <br />paving cost participation and lease of flood lot under contract approval; <br />2) resolution of condolence to the family of William Thompson; 3) ratify <br />Personnel Overview Committee action; and 4) add sheriff's department <br />staffing request to the regular agenda. Motion carried. <br /> <br />5. VECTOR CONTROL, Authorize chairman to sian purchase orders for office furniture <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Wagner moved and Mrs. Sorum seconded to authorize the chairman <br />to sign purchase orders for office furniture for the new vector control <br />facility in the amount of $25,876.10 with Hannaher's Inc. and in the <br />amount of $3,162.25 with Business Essentials. On roll call vote, the <br />motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />6. ROAD DEPARTMENT, Actina pay in the absence of county enaineer <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Wagner moved and Mrs. Sorum seconded to approve acting pay for <br />Rich Sieg and Tom Soucy in the absence of County Engineer Keith <br />Berndt, who is on military leave, in accordance with a memorandum from <br />Mr. Berndt dated October 17, 2005. On roll call vote, the motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />7. PLAT APPROVAL, Bellemare First Subdivision <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Wagner moved and Mrs. Sorum seconded to grant final plat approval <br />for Bellemare First Subdivision, Section 27, Township 138N, Range 49W <br />in Cass County, North Dakota. On roll call vote, the motion carried <br />unanimously. <br />
