Wieland seconded that the south <br /> 1,700 feet of the section line road between Sections 35 and <br /> 36 of Casselton Township be closed as a public road and to <br /> authorize the Chairman to sign the Resolution of Closure. <br /> On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />COMPUTER SOFTWARE MUTUAL COOPERATION AGREEMENT, Approved <br />Hr. Mike Steiner from Data Processing said this agreement between <br />Cass County, Clay County, City of Fargo and City of Moorhead is to <br />promote cooperation between the data processing departments of the <br />four entities and eliminate possible duplication of software products <br />that one or more entities have developed prior to this agreement. <br />This agreement would allow the entities to utilize one another's <br />software. <br /> <br />Mr. Robert Hoy, States Attorney, said the County has authority to not <br />allow our software to be utilized if that is its wishes; this applies <br />to the other entities involved also. MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Wie]and moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded to authorize <br /> the Chairman to sign the Computer Software Mutual <br /> Cooperation Agreement. On roll ca]] vote, the motion <br /> carried unanimously. <br /> <br />BID OPENING FOR SALE OF COMPUTER EQUIPMENT <br />Bids for the sale of two IBM computer systems were opened and made <br />public by Ordelle Brua, Cass County Auditor. The following bids were <br />received: <br /> <br />Xerox <br /> <br />System 1 - $24,275 <br />System 2 - $12,175 <br /> <br />A-1 Computer Marketing <br /> <br />System 1 - $23,050 <br />System 2 - $11,100 <br /> <br />Custom Computer Marketing, Inc. <br /> <br /> $41,000 <br />(for both systems) <br /> <br />Compurex Systems, Inc. <br /> <br />System 1 - $23,600 <br />System 2 - $10,400 <br /> <br />Fargo Police Department <br /> <br />System 1 - $25,000 <br /> <br />Innovative Computer Market <br /> <br />System 1 - $19,450 <br />System 2 - $11,450 <br /> <br />WisComp Systems, Inc. System 1 - $21,100 <br /> System 2 - $13,300 <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Sondrall moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded that Mr. <br /> Steiner and Mr. Michael Montplaisir, County Accountant, <br /> review the bids and offer their recommendation before the <br /> end of the Commission meeting.
