On roll call <br /> vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Sondrall moved and Mr. Eckert seconded that the <br /> Chairman be authorized to sign resolutions approving and <br /> issuing the Natural and Nuclear Operational Plans for Cass <br /> County. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Wieland moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded that <br /> Commissioners Wieland and Eckert work with the Emergency <br /> Management Office on a final draft of the Emergency <br /> Operations Plan for Commission approval at a later date. <br /> On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />FIRE DANGER INDEX, Governor's Executive Order <br />Commission received a copy of Governor's Executive Order on fire <br />danger index throughout the State, and Glenn E1]ingsberg said there <br />is not a great risk in Cass County because of recent rain and snow. <br />He will keep the Commission informed throughout the summer. <br /> <br />PERSONNEL DEPARTMENT, Salary and Day grade form revisions <br />Geoffrey Riches, Personnel Director, proposed changes in the salary <br />and pay grade form used for staff replacements and new positions to <br />have more uniformity among County departments. Mrs. Toussaint said <br />there were problems in the past when the Social Services Department <br />offered employees a different salary than what the Social Services <br />Board or the County Commission had approved. Hr. Eckert suggested a <br />monthly report to the Commission on the number of staff replacements. <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Eckert moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded to approve the <br /> overall implementation of the procedure outlined in the <br /> Personnel Director's memo dated April 18, 1990. On roll <br /> call vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />EMPLOYEE BENEFIT, S__ectionl~5_p_].~ to be imple~gQted June 1 <br />Assistant States Attorney John Golf reviewed the adoption agreemet~t <br />for Cass County's flexible benefits plan. The Personnel Director- <br />said the Employee Benefits Committee set a maximum of $1,200 per <br />calendar year for non-reimbursed medical expenses, and the pla~) is <br />scheduled foe implementation June 1, 1990. MOTION, passed <br /> Hr. Wieland moved and Mr. Eckert seconded to authorize the <br /> adoption agreement on the flexible benefits plan.
