Minutes--May 1, 1990 458 <br /> <br />10. <br /> <br />11. <br /> <br />12. <br /> <br />13. <br /> <br />14. <br /> <br />TAX DIRECTOR, Out of state travel MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Wieland moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded to approve <br /> out of state travel to Hinneapolis on June 10-12 for Frank <br /> Klein, Tax Director. On roll call vote, the motion carried <br /> unanimously. <br /> <br />OFFICER'S REPORTS, Received and filed MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Wieland moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded to receive <br /> and file Officer's Reports for March, 1990. On roll call <br /> vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />VOUCHERS, A_P_BEoved <br />Mr. Sondrall asked about bills for blood tests. These are to prove <br />paternity suits for child support payments, and the County is <br />normally reimbursed for these bills. He asked about bills for rent <br />from Social Services Genera] Assistance account, and Hrs. Toussaint <br />said current policies for General Assistance need to be reviewed. <br />Concerning burials for Social Services clients, Hrs. Toussaint said <br />the State Legislature raised the amount a'l]owab]e from $1,200 to <br />$1,400, which includes the price of the burial plot. MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Sondra]] moved and Hr. Wie]and seconded that Vouchers <br /> No. 13298 through No. 14,159 be approved and ordered paid. <br /> On roll ca]] vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />CHILD SUPPORT ENFORCEHENT, Visit.by Harcg!!us Hartse postooDed <br />Chairman Shannon received a letter from Marcellus Hartze, State Human <br />Services Department, saying he could not attend the Cass Cour)ty <br />Commission meeting today to discuss the child support incentive <br />program. Mr. Shannon will reschedule him for another meeting. <br /> <br />ABATEMENT APPROVED, Richard add Mitsuko Krape MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Sondra11 moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded that <br /> Abatement No. 3924 for Richard and Mitsuko Krape be reduced <br /> from $77,OOO to $70,0OO in the manner recommended by the <br /> Reed Township Board and the Director of Equalization. On <br /> roil ca]] vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />ABATEMENT APPROVED, Frank Kasows i~_]__~E~ MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Wieland moved and Hr. Eckert seconded that Abatement <br /> No. 3925 for Frank Kasowski Farms be approved as <br /> recommended by the City of Hapleton and the Director o¢ <br /> Equalization.
