Hinutes--April 17, 1990 453 <br /> <br />10. <br /> <br />11. <br /> <br />PRAIRIE PUBLIC TV, 8tatement of compliance with comprehensive plan <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mrs. Toussaint moved and Mr, Eckert seconded to approve <br /> sending a statement of compliance with Cass County's <br /> comprehensive land use policy plan to Prairie Public <br /> Broadcastin9 to be submitted with their applications for <br /> funding prairie town meetings and television equipment <br /> through the Farmers Home Administration. On roll call <br /> vote, the motion carried unanimouslyi <br /> <br />CASS COUNTY MODEL, Bepgrt from projec~ dlrector <br />"The Cass County Hodel," a partnership for effective government, is <br />proceeding on schedule according to Project Director Scott Kiidahl. <br />Letters and brochures have been sent to all municipalities and <br />township officials inviting participation and support to ensure that <br />this study has County-wide representation· <br /> <br />He has been in contact with Richland County, which began a county <br />government study over a year ago. They have forwarded data and <br />research materials that can be utilized in Cass County. Hark <br />Johnson, Executive Director of the North Dakota Association of <br />Counties, said other counties will be watching what Cass County and <br />Richland County are doing because of all the fiscal problems in ti~e <br />State. <br /> <br />Hr. Kildahl said the fund-raising network is being developed, lie <br />anticipates the budget will be about $10,000 less than the rnaxim~m~ <br />amount of $50,000 which the Co~mty approved. <br /> <br />Mr. Kildahl will update the Commission monthly on the project a~d <br />present a preliminary report during a September Commission meetil~g. <br /> <br />RESOLUTIONS AMENDED, ~199D¥ Ho].!ow oavjng Dro,ie_~c~ <br />Attorney Daniel Twichell provided copies of amended resolutions for <br />the Sleepy Hollow Street Improvement District, which Cass County <br />sponsored in 1989. He said it came to the attention of the fiscal <br />agent, Evensen Dodge, Inc., that they had inadvertently used t;)~e <br />wrong interest payment dates on the bonds. <br /> <br />Hr'. Twichell said the easiest way to resolve this is for the Cotmty <br />to amend the previoLls resolutions to show the interest payment dates <br />as May and November instead of June and December. He said tt~e <br />resolutions are tile same as previously adopted in all other MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Wieland moved and Hr.
