The next Social <br />Services Board meeting is scheduled for April 17 at 1:30 p.m. <br /> <br />CORRESPONDENCE, Received and filed NOTION, passed <br /> Mr, Wieland moved and Hfs. Toussaint seconded to receive <br /> and file correspondence from the following: Attorney Gary <br /> Stewart on behalf of Anthony Rutten regarding road and <br /> bridge discontinuance in Stanley Township; Joel Young <br /> regarding attendance at the American Mosquito Control <br /> convention in Kentucky; Eloise Haaland regarding parking <br /> violations in the County parking lot; copy of a letter from <br /> Mort Mazaheri to Governor Sinner regarding Garrison <br /> Diversion; Office of Intergovernmental Assistance regarding <br /> audit guidelines on CDBG projects; copy of a letter from <br /> Ronald Braake to Sheriff regarding conduct of deputies; <br /> Lightowler Johnson Associates asking for a letter of <br /> support for the Regional Small Business Center; Gary <br /> Griffeth responding to the Chairman's letter after his tax <br /> abatement application was denied; copy of a letter to Earl <br /> Haugen from Professional Building Services regarding <br /> implementation of the paper recycling program; and 1989 <br /> annual report from the Fargo-Moorhead Metropolitan Council <br /> of Governments. On roll call vote, the motion carried <br /> unanimously, <br /> <br />COHMISSION MEETINGS, Conslderation requested on evenin~ meeting <br />Mr. Wieland asked the Commission to consider the possibility of <br />holding the 2nd Tuesday meeting of each month beginning in the ]ate <br />afternoon into the evening to allow the general public to attend. <br /> <br />COUNTY DEPARTMENTS, Cost/benefit ratio <br />Hr. Wieland wondered if any counties have done a cost/benefit study <br />of their departments, and he said he will contact the State. <br />Mr. Shannon suggested that he contact Scott Kildahl, Cass County <br />Model project director. <br /> <br /> <br />
