BEER LICENSE APPROVED, Leonard Golf Club MOTION, passed <br /> Nr. Eckert moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded to renew a beer <br /> license for the Leonard Golf Club for 1990. Hotion carried. <br /> <br />10. ABATEHENT FOR GARY GRIFFETH, Denied <br />A hearing was scheduled on abatement application ~3908 submitted <br />by Gary Griffeth for property located in Reed Township. In his <br />application, Mr. Griffeth requested that the total true and full <br />value of the property be $34,928 instead of $90,000. <br /> <br />Frank Klein, County Director of Tax Equalization, inspected the <br />property and agreed with the Reed Township Board that the total <br />true and full value should be $55,000. <br /> <br />Mr. Griffeth said he spent about $33,000 on the building, which is <br />a metal shell used for storage and is not heated. He said he will <br />accept $55,000 as the total value. Hr. Klein said there are some <br />improvements on the property. <br />MOTION, passed <br /> Hr. Eckert moved and Hrs. Toussaint seconded that abatement <br /> ~3908 be denied and that the valuation be set at $10,000 for <br /> the commercial lot and $45,000 for the commercial structure <br /> as recommended by the Reed Township Board and the Director of <br /> Equalization.
