Mr. Shannon suggested inviting one <br />representative from each group, plus legal counsel, and <br />that Mr. Wieland write his letter as specific as possible. <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />20. VOUCHERS, Approved MOTXON, passed <br /> Mr. Sondrall moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded that <br /> Vouchers No. 6,436 through No. 7,190 be approved and <br /> ordered paid. On roll call vote, the motion carried <br /> unanimously. <br /> <br />21. VOTING PRECINCTS, Approved MOTION, passed <br /> Mrs. Toussaint moved and Mr. Shannon seconded to approve <br /> the list of voting precincts outside of city limits for the <br /> December 5 special election, as presented by the Auditor. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> <br />22. SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT, Out of state travel MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Shannon moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded to approve <br /> out of state travel for Walt Willis to attend a conference <br /> on November 9-11, 1989, in Chicago. On roll call vote, the <br /> motion carried unanimously~ <br /> <br />23. SOCIAL SERVICES, Employee complaints <br />The Commission received copies of two comp'laint letters addressed to <br />the Cass County Social Service Board. The letters were each unsigned <br />but identified as "Eligibility Specialist, Income Maintenance Unit." <br /> <br />24. COUNTY COMMISSIONERS ASSOCIATION, Resolutions committee <br />As Chairman of the North Dakota County Commissioners Association <br />resolutions committee, Mr. Wie'land suggested that Cass County <br />department heads and Commissioners provide him with any legislative <br />concerns by Friday of this week. <br /> <br />25. NORTH DAKOTA MEASURES, "Yes" vote supported on 3, 4 and 7 <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Hr. Wieland moved and Hr. Sondrall seconded to pass a <br /> resolution to support a "yes" vote on North Dakota Measures <br /> 3, 4 and 7 on the December 5 special election ballot. <br /> Hotion carried. <br /> <br />26. SOCIAL SERVICES AND COUNTY COMMISSION, Meeting to be held <br />In the interest of opening the lines of communication, Hr. Wieland <br />suggested another meeting between the Social Services Board members <br />and members of the Cass County Commission to discuss some of the same <br />issues as before. Chairman Eckert will contact the Sociat Services <br />Board Chairman to try to schedu'le a joint meeting at 8:30 a.m. <br />October 16 in the Commission Room. Mr. Eckert stated that the news <br />media is so informed. <br /> <br /> <br />
