FARGO COMMUNITY HEALTH, Nursin~ services MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Wieland moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded to receive <br /> and forward to the Fargo Community Health Center a <br /> compliment to a County health nurse for her 9pod work in <br /> the Page community. Motion carried. <br /> <br />20. SOCIAL SERVICES, Salary complaint <br />Chairman Eckert received a letter from a County Social Services <br />employee stating that she was overlooked when salary increases were <br />granted to nearly all of her co-workers. Mr. Eckert stated that he <br />checked to see if this was an oversight on the part of the salary <br />committee but was informed that the committee had reviewed the <br />position and was satisfied that it is proper'ly classified. <br /> <br />21. PAGE SENIOR CITIZENS, Open house invitation <br />An invitation was received from the Page senior citizens for the <br />Commissioners to attend an open house on September 10, 1989, from <br />2:00-5:00 PM. Mr. Sondrall plans to attend. <br /> <br />22, SHERIFF'S OFFICE, TraDsfer of funds to Co. General <br />The Commission received a letter from Sheriff Don Rudnick, dated <br />August 15, 1989, regarding various accounts held by his office which <br />the Commission has requested be deposited with the County Treasurer <br />in the General fund. County Audftor Ordelle Brua stated that some <br />of the accounts were turned over to the Treasurer yesterday, and the <br />remainder will be turned over after working out some further details. <br /> <br />23. NORTH DAKOTA FLAG, Presented by County Auditor <br />The County Auditor presented the Commission with a North Dakota State <br />flag that she won as a door prize at the State Auditor's Convention <br />which she recently attended. MOTION, passed <br /> Mrs. Toussaint moved and Mr. Sondra]] seconded to accept <br /> the gift from the County Auditor of the North Dakota State <br /> flag. Motion carried. Commissioners Wie]and and Shannon <br /> wi]] find an appropriate Place to display it. <br /> <br />24. OVERTIME EXEMPTION, Clarification on effective date <br />Personnel Assistant Sandra Brumfield requested clarification on the <br />effective date of Commission action on July 11, 1989, concerning <br />exempt/non exempt positions as discussed by the Sheriff's Department <br />earlier today. She asked if the effective date would be July 11th, <br />or July 17th when the notification was actually in written form and <br />sent out by the Auditor's Office according to a statement by the <br />Sheriff's Department today. She stated that the Sheriff's Department <br />called her the day before the checks were written and asked if that <br />was going to be effective on July 11th. She informed them that it <br />would be effective July 11th because she had not received any other <br />notification. The Social Services Department adhered to the action <br />immediately, but employees in the Sheriff's Department were paid <br />contrary to what she informed them that the salaries should be. <br /> <br /> <br />
