Comm. Minutes--July 11, 1989 287 <br /> <br />Mrs. Toussaint recommended that letters be sent to the following <br />persons: Mrs. Hart] notifying her of her appointment to Southeast <br />Human Services, and to David Martin and Mary Deutsch Schneider <br />thanking them for their interest in the Southeast Human Services <br />Board; to Jeannette Stanton notifying her that she is no longer a <br />member of the Vector Control Board. <br /> <br />21. RAFFLE PERMIT, Nora Evangelical Lutheran Church MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Sondra]] moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded to approve <br /> the application for a raffle permit for the Nora <br /> Evangelical Lutheran Church Women to be held at Nora <br /> Lutheran Church, Gardner, ND on the date of October 7, <br /> 1989. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />22. SITE AUTHORIZATION PERMIT, Dokken & Schroeder Post, Erie <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Wie]and moved and Mr. Sondra]] seconded to approve the <br /> Site Authorization Permit for Dokken & Schroeder Post #223 <br /> to conduct games of chance at the Erie American Legion Club <br /> through June 30, 1990. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />23. PLEDGE OF ASSETS, Approved for July, 1989 MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Wieland moved and Mr. Shannon seconded to approve the <br /> Pledges of Assets for July, 1989, according to the list <br /> furnished by the County Auditor. On roll call vote, the <br /> motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />24. ABATEMENT APPLICATIONS APPROVED, Ista, Richman, Jahnke <br />Francis Klein, Director of Tax Equalization, reported that he has <br />further investigated the application for tax abatement submitted by <br />LeRoy Ista, and Mr. Ista did furnish a title of transfer showing he <br />is the owner of property located in Meadow Brook Park Add'ltion in <br />Mapleton Township. <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Sondra]] moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded to lower the <br /> value from $20,602 to $5,000 on the application for tax <br /> abatement submitted by LeRoy Ista, as recommended by the <br /> County Tax Director. On roll ca]] vote, the motion carried <br /> unanimously. <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Wie]and moved and Mr. Shannon seconded to lower the <br /> value from $12,080 to $3,100 for 1987 and from $6,100 for <br /> 1988 and 1989 on the application for tax abatement <br /> submitted by Larry Richman, as recommended by the County <br /> Tax Director. On roll ca]] vote, the motion carried <br /> unanimously. <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mrs. Toussaint moved and Mr. Sondra]] seconded to lower the <br /> value from $6,640 to $664 for the tax years 1987 and 1988 <br /> on the application for tax abatement submitted by Wallace <br /> and Florence Jahnke, as recommended by the County Tax <br /> Director.
