RED RIVER VALLEY FAIRGROUNDS, Ice equipment Chairman Eckert asked if there is any further information on the sale of ice equipment from Schollander Pavilion at the fairgrounds, and the Fair Manager stated that no one has approached the Fair Board about removing the equipment, She would 'like this done after the fair and before the upcoming Big Iron event. 8. ROAD AND STREET REPAIR FUNDS, Allocated to Riverside MOTION, passed Upon recommendation of County Engineer Don Richards, Mr. Wieland moved and Mr. Sondrall seconded to approve allocation of the City of Riverside's Pothole and Street Repair funds in the amount of $3,082. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. 9. NORTHERN STATES POWER COMPANY, Utility permit north of C20 MOTION, passed Upon the recommendation of the County Engineer, Mrs. Toussaint moved and Mr. Sondrall seconded to grant a utility permit to the Northern States Power Company to place a 3" plastic gas main along County Road 20 north of Hector Airport. Motion carried. 10. ROAD PAVING, County road 5 near Wheatland MOTION, passed Mr. Sondrall moved and Mr. Wieland seconded that the Road Department be allowed to advertise for bids for a maintenance overlay on County Road 5 four miles north of Interstate 94 in the Wheatland area, bids to be opened in August and work to be done this fall. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. 11. FLOOD DAMAGE, Reimbursements received Auditor Or'delle Brua reported that she received a check in the amount of $57,076 from the North Dakota Division of Emergency Management for flood damages. This was 75% share of the damage survey report plus 100% administrative expense. There will be $27,754 sent later upon completion of further documents. The Auditor also received a check from Federal Emergency Management Agency which includes money to be paid to townships. The County Board authorized the Auditor and Engineer to proceed witt~ disposition of these funds in accordance with damage survey reports, and disperse the funds to various townships based upon authorized expenditures. 12. BRIDGE IN STANLEY TOWNSHIP, Update The County Engineer reported that he will be working with the State Public Assistance Officer to resolve the Damage Survey Report of the Stanley Township bridge on County Road 14. 13. ROAD ENGINEER, Out of state travel MOTION, passed Hr. Sondra]] moved and Hr. Wie]and seconded to authorize out of state %rave] for Don Richards to attend the National Association of County Engineers' meeting in Cincinnati, Ohio, on July 14-18.
