On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. 27. LOST INSTRUMENT BONDS, Received and filed NOTION, passed Mrs. Toussaint moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to receive and file the Indemnity Bonds on Lost Instrument for Joel Liebl, Gall Yliniemi, Velva Peterson, Lawrence Bakken, Carlos Perez, Adeline Hartl, Clair Berg, and Beverly Thompson; and authorize the Auditor to issue duplicate checks. Motion carried. 28. APPOINTMENTS TO VARIOUS BOARDS, To be made June 20th NOTION, passed Mr. Wieland moved and Hfs. Toussaint seconded that June 20, 1989, be set as the date for making appointments on various boards for terms expiring July 1st. Motion carried. 29. FEMA, Appreciation to employees A, Johnson, G. Ellingsberq, and L. Worden NOTION, passed Mr. Sondrall moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded that Alton Johnson, Maintenance Supervisor, receive a copy of a letter from the Federal Emergency Management Agency expressing their appreciation for Mr. Johnson's services during their Disaster Field Office operation in the Cass County EOC. Motion carried. NOTION, passed Mr. Sondrall moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded that Glenn Ellingsberg and Lyndon Worden receive a copy of a letter from the Federal Emergency Management Agency extending thanks for the help and cooperation from these two employees during their Disaster Field Of¢ice operation in the Cass County EOC. Motion carried. 30. HISTORICAL SOCIETY, County representation Mr. Eckert stated that a letter was received from the Cass County Historical Society in response to the County's letter regarding County representation on boards, and they welcomed a member of the Commission to serve as an ex-officio board member. The Commission Secretary will notify the Historical Society that Commissioner Oscar Sondrall will represent the County Commission on their Board. 31. COURTHOUSE, Public telephone contract The County Auditor received a proposed contract with U.S. West Communications for commissions on the public telephone in the Courthouse. Robert Hoy stated that the proposed contract changes the revenue structure, which should be more beneficial to the County. Mr. Wieland asked to delay this item for 30 days, and he will contact the telephone company about the possibility of having a second public telephone installed in the Courthouse. 32. SALARY AND PERSONNEL POLICY STUDY, ~ide Helmeke billinR Concerning a bill from Eide Helmeke Company in the amount of $504.00 for review of the Oounty's policy manual with counsel, Mr. Eckert stated that the contract which the Chairman signed states that
