'ft~e States Attorney agreed to draft a letter to the Addis,~)~ and Durbin Township Boards requesting a letter from tt~em indicat, i~g that they are in agreement with the County Board's action. MOTION, passed Hr. Wieland moved and Hr. Sondrall seconded to appr'ove changing County Road 9 as outlined by the County Engineer, and that appropriate documentation be made and approved by the States Attorney, and autltorize the Chairman to sig~ it. On ro~l call vote, the motion carried unanimously. 10. ROAD DEPARTHENT, Lease/purchase of dozer Don Richards provided proposals from two financial instit~.~tions for the purchase of a Fiat Allis 1989 FD 20 Dozer, the item and method of purchase being included in the budget for this year'. He recommended the lowest quote of Norwest Investment Services. MOTION, passed Mr. Sondra]] moved and Mrs. Toussaint seco~]ded that the Cass County Commission authorize the Chairman to sign an agreement with Norwest Investment Services, Inc. on the governmental ]ease/purchase proposal for a ~989 Fiat ~D 20 dozer at five e~ua] annual payments of $30,?§3.02. On roll ca]] vote, the motion carried unanimous]y. 11. ROAD DEPARTHENT, Seasonal hire MOTION, passed Hr. Sondra]] moved and Hr. Shannon seconded that tile County Engineer be authorized to hire up to seven additional people as temporary summer help at a salary of $5.50/hour, this being a budgeted item. On roll ca]] vote, the motion carried unanimously. 12. ROAD & STREET REPAIR FUNDS, Allocated to City of Horace MOTION, passed Upon the recommendation of the County Engineer, Hr. Sondra]] moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded to approve allocation of the City of Horace's Pothole and Street Repair Funds in the amount of $1,215. On roll ca]] vote, the motion carried unanimously. 13. CASS COUNTY ELECTRIC & CASS RURAL WATER, Utility permits Don Richards presented utility per-mit applications submitted by Cass County Electric and the Cass Rural Water Users Association for an easement along County Road 9 in Addison and Durbin Townships. MOTION, passed Mr. Wie]and moved and Hr. Sondra]] seconded that the utility permits as outlined by the Engineer be approved and signed by the Chairman of the County Commission. Hotion carried.
