Comm. Minutes--May 2, 1989 247 <br /> <br />26. BEER LICENSE RENEWAL, Bison Shooting park <br />Mr. Bill Walker appeared before the Board to request renewal of his <br />Beer License at the Bison Shooting Park located in Warren Township. <br />Neither the Sheriff's Office or the States Attorney had received any <br />complaints on this establishment. Mr. Walker stated that he may <br />apply for the Sunday sales endorsement at a later date. Mr. Wieland <br />asked when he plans to open for business, and Mr. Walker stated that <br />it would be this evening. The Commission requested that he make <br />application earlier in the future, preferably when other licenses are <br />annually renewed each December. MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Wieland moved and Hrs. Toussaint seconded to grant <br /> renewal of the County Beer License for Walker Investment, <br /> Inc., doing business as Bison Shooting Park, for 1989. On <br /> roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />27. FLOOD DAMAGE, Disaster Emergency services report <br />Glenn Ellingsberg provided Commissioners with a written report and <br />was present at this time stating that the recent flood damage within <br />all of Cass County has been assessed. If a Presidential Disaster <br />Declaration is issued, the Federal Emergency Hanagement Agency has <br />asked to locate their disaster field office at the Cass County <br />Emergency Operations Center. MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Sondrall moved and Mr. Shannon seconded to allow the <br /> Federal Emergency Management Agency to use the Emergency <br /> Operations Center as their headquarters for providing <br /> government briefings and processing of claims for disaster <br /> funds. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />28. JAIL ADVISORY COMMITTEE, commissioR representatives appointed <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Shannon moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded that <br /> Commissioners Don Eckert and Alon Wieland serve as the <br /> representatives of the Cass County Commission on the Jail <br /> Advisory Committee. Both Mr. Wieland and Mr. Eckert stated <br /> that they would defer to Mr. Shannon to sit on the <br /> committee, but he respectfully declined. On roll call <br /> vote, the motion carried with four members voting "Aye", <br /> Mr. Eckert passing his vote. <br /> <br />29. JAIL ADVISORY COMMITTEE, Appointments made MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Wieland moved and Mr. Sondrall seconded to appoint the <br /> Jail Advisory Committee according to the list provided, <br /> with names to be added from the Fargo Chamber of Commerce, <br /> the Township Officers, Commissioner Districts 1 and 5, and <br /> to leave the user position open at this time to be added <br /> later or to use testimony at the time it is needed. On <br /> roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />30. VOUCHERS, Reviewed MOTION, tabled <br /> Mr. Sondrall moved and Mr. Shannon seconded that Vouchers <br /> No. 2,428 through No. 3,186 be approved and ordered paid. <br /> However, Mr. Eckert reviewed the bills prior to the meeting <br /> today and questioned two of them. Mr. Shannon moved and <br /> Mr. Wieland seconded to table the motion. Motion carried. <br /> <br /> <br />
