Minutes--April 4, 1989 224 <br /> <br />34.SOCIAL SERVICE BOARD, Joint resolution for removal of J. Stanton <br />Chairman Eckert stated that he received the Joint Resolution for <br />Removal of Jeannette Stanton from the Cass County Social Service <br />Board, signed by John Graham, Executive Director of the North Dakota <br />Department of Human Services. Mr. Eckert felt there was nothing <br />further the County Commission needed to do and asked States Attorney <br />Robert Hoy if Mrs. Stanton is no longer a member of the County Social <br />Services Board. Mr. Hoy stated that this is correct, and it would be <br />effective immediately. <br /> <br />35.SOCIAL SERVICE BOARD, Two vacancies <br />Chairman Eckert stated that there is one vacancy on the Social <br />Service Board at this time and one vacancy as of April 11, 1989, due <br />to the resignation of Ray Larson being effective on that date. <br />Mr. Sondral] submitted the name of Mrs. Adeline Hartl of Alice. <br />Mr. Eckert suggested submitting names for possible appointment in the <br />next two weeks, and to place the appointments on the agenda for the <br />May 2nd meeting. <br /> <br />36.COMMISSION REPRESENTATION, ~99~st names from various Boards <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> In order to update the Cass County Commission's <br /> records, Mrs. Toussaint moved and Mr. Shannon <br /> seconded that the Commission Secretary send a <br /> letter to all boards which involve representation <br /> from the Cass County Commission, asking them the <br /> names they currently have from the County on each <br /> of their boards. This letter would also include <br /> the motion that was passed at the February 14, <br /> 1989, Commission meeting relating to concurrent <br /> terms as Commissioners and service on all boards. <br /> Each board would be asked to respond by April 14, <br /> 1989. Motion carried. <br /> <br />37.AUDITOR, ~gq~9~t for PC and for tape recorder <br />Chairman Eckert read a letter from Auditor Ordelle Brua requesting a <br />personal computer for her use, and requesting a tape recorder for <br />back-up purposes in the Commission Room. It was referred to <br />Commissioner Toussaint for a recommendation at the next meeting. <br /> <br />38.RIVERDALE CENTENNIAL, ~9~uest for stone <br />A letter ~as received from the Riverdale Centennial Commission <br />requesting Counties in North Dakota to furnish one stone to be used <br />for a centennial project signifying the counties bonding together <br />forming the State of North Dakota. <br /> <br />39.POLICY ON COMP TIME AND OVERTIME, Reaffirmed <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mrs. Toussaint moved and Mr. Shannon seconded to <br /> reaffirm County Personnel Policy on overtime <br /> stating that department heads are not allowed <br /> compensatory time or overtime.
