Minutes--March 21, 1989 <br />27.ROAD REPAIR FUNDS, Allocated MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Sondrall moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded to approve <br /> payment of City Pothole and Street Repair Funds to the City <br /> of Fargo in the amount of $253,925, to the City of Buffalo <br /> in the amount of $429, to the City of Hunter in the amount <br /> of $845, and to the City of Frontier in the amount of $450. <br /> On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />211 <br /> <br />28.BRIDGE PROJECT, Cass 22-Cla¥ 26 <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Sondrall moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to authorize <br /> the Chairman to sign a cooperative agreement with Clay <br /> County for the Cass County 22/Clay County 26 bridge <br /> project, subject to approval of the States Attorney. On <br /> roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />29.JAIL, Mission Statement/Advisory Committee, postponed <br /> The Commissioners reviewed a Mission Statement for a proposed jail <br /> advisory committee. Mr. Wieland suggested changing the number of <br /> days from 90 to 180 days for a committee to make their written <br /> recommendations to the County Commission. The Mission Statement and <br /> a review of the category of people to serve on a Jail Advisory <br /> Committee will be placed on the agenda for the next meeting. <br /> <br />30.FARGO-CASS EDt, Appt. of S. Toussaint MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Sondrall moved and Mr. Wieland seconded that <br /> Commissioner Toussaint be selected in addition to <br /> Commissioner Wieland to represent the Cass County <br /> Commission on the Fargo-Cass County Economic Development <br /> Corporation, and submit her name for nomination. On roll <br /> call vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />31.HOUSING AUTHORITY, Apot. of D. Gust MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Wieland moved and Mr. Sondrall seconded to appoint <br /> Daniel Gust, Sr. to the Cass County Housing Authority to <br /> fill the unexpired term of the late Richard Hilborn. Said <br /> term will expire on July 1, 1993. On roll call vote, the <br /> motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />32.OFFICER'S REPORTS, February MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Sondrall moved and Mr. Shannon seconded to receive and <br /> file Officer's Reports for February, 1989. Motion carried. <br /> <br />33.SALE OF TAX LOTS, To cities MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Wieland moved and Mr. Sondrall seconded to authorize <br /> the Chairman and Auditor to sign County Deeds to the cities <br /> <br /> <br />
