80 <br /> <br /> Mr. Sondrall moved and Mr. Larson seconded that <br />85,922 through No. 86,873 be approved and ordered paid. <br />vote, the mot&on carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Vouchers No. <br />On roll call <br /> <br /> Mrs. Stanton moved and Mr. Larson seconded to receive the check <br />for gaming tax pay-back in the amount of $775.22, and refer it to the <br />Sheriff's Department for enforcement of the State's gaming laws. <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br /> Mrs. Stanton moved and Mr. Larson seconded to approve the list <br />of Primary Election Inspectors for rural Cass County as submitted by <br />County Auditor Ordelle Brua. Motion carried. <br /> <br /> Concerning County property and liability insurance, the Oounty <br />Auditor stated that it is not necessary to advertise for 30 days in <br />advance of opeming bids. Diana Murack stated that she is still <br />updating the property and equipment lists with the respective <br />departments, and the Chairman suggested that this be completed in the <br />next two weeks and that the States Attorney review the insurance <br />specifications. <br /> <br /> County Engineer Don Richards recommended <br />for accepting bids received earlier today. <br /> <br />the following action <br /> <br /> Mr. Larson moved and Mrs. Stanton. seconded to accept the low bid <br />of Ford Tractor,of Fargo in the amount of $74,~85 for three tractors <br />and one loader. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br />Mr. Richards noted that the delivery date in their bid proposal was <br />not acceptable, but Ford 'Tractor of Fargo has agreed to allow him the <br />use of three tractors until the County's are delivered. <br /> <br /> Mrs. Stanton moved and Mr. Larson seconded to accept the iow bid <br />of Midwest Industrial for an hydraulic excavator in the amount of <br />$129,858~ and to negotiate the best price for leasing of this <br />equipment. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> Mr. Wieland moved and Mr. Sondrall seconded to accept the bid of <br />Fargo Culvert Company and the bid of H.V. Johnston Culvert Company <br />for structural plate and pipe arch. On roll call vote, the motion <br />carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> Mrs. Stanton moved and Mr. Larson seconded to accept the bid of <br />Christianson Asphalt Products and to accept the bid of Koch Materials <br />for asphalt products~ and to accept the bid of Wheeler <br />Consolidated, Inc. for treated timber deck panels with the County <br />Engineer being instructed to use the above bids in the best interest <br />of the County. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> Mrs. Stanton moved and Mr. Larson seconded to receive and file a <br />letter from the City of Fargo appointing City Commissioner George <br />Hanna to the Cass County Planning Commission to replace former <br />Commissioner, Jeff Frankhauser.
