Motion carried. <br /> <br /> Mr. Wieland moved and Mrs. Stanton seconded that Chairman Eokert <br />request a time on the next Social Services Board agenda to explain <br />the County personnel policies, and that they are to be followed by <br />the Social Services Department as well as any other County <br />departments. Motion carried. <br /> <br /> Mr. Wieland moved and Mr. Sondrall seconded to approve a Site <br />Authorization Permit to Prairie Public Broadcasting, Inc. for games <br />of chance at the LoNer 48, Wild Rice, ND for the period of July 1, <br />1988, through June 50, 1989. Notion carried. <br /> <br /> Mrs. Stanton moved and Mr. Sondrall seconded to approve out of <br />state travel to Aberdeen, SD on June 7, 1988, for 8er Bohr, County <br />Social Services employee. Motion carried. <br /> <br /> Mr. Sondrall moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to approve out of <br />state travel for Lt. Arland Rasmussen to Springfield, MO on <br />June 14-16, 1988 for a quarterly meeting of the Mid-States Organized <br />Crime Information Center. Motion carried. <br /> <br /> A letter Nas received from Bucklin Trial Lawyers regarding <br />transfer of municipal ordinance violation cases from municipal court <br />to county court pursuant to NDCO 40-18-06.2. Mr. Wieland moved and <br />Mr. Larson seconded to receive and file the letter, the checklist, <br />and the forms for implementation of said Section; and to refer copies <br />to Attorney Brian Neugebauer, Chairman of the committee to study the <br />combining of city and county court. Motion carried. <br /> <br /> Mr. Nieland moved and Mrs. Stanton seconded that a letter from <br />the States Attorney regarding the request for creation of special <br />assessment district along County Road 20 be referred to the County <br />Planner. Motion carried. <br /> <br /> Upon the request of the City of West Fargo, Mr. Wietand moved <br />and Mrs. Stanton seconded to reappoint Roger Lateen to the West Fargo <br />Planning and Zoning Commission from their extra-territorial <br />3urisdiction for a term to expire July 1, 1995. Motion carried. <br /> <br /> Mr. Wieland moved and Mrs. Stanton seconded to receive and file <br />the letter from Francis Klein accepting the position of Director of <br />Tax Equalization effective July 1, 1988. Motion carried. <br /> <br /> Mr. Wieland moved and Mrs. Stanton seconded to accept the <br />proposal of Clarence Miller to assist the newly appointed Director of <br />Tax Equalization after July let not to exceed 16 hours per week and <br />not to exceed four weeks at an hourly rate based upon his current <br />salary, excluding any County benefits. On roll call vote, the motion <br />carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> On motion by Mrs. Stanton and seconded by Mr. Larson, <br />meeting was adjourned. <br /> <br />the <br /> <br /> <br />
