To <br />remedy this problem, one of the workstations is no <br />longer used and a workstation was added to the end of <br />the millwork to accommodate staff. <br /> <br />The dental operatory is being used for archived medical <br />files. Medical staff explained that they "never g~ot a <br />separate file room" and the file space in the medical <br />office has been used up. When the dental space is <br />needed sometime in the future, space will have to be <br />found for the archived medical records. <br /> <br />There is not enough storage in the medication room. <br />More Iockable cabinets are needed. <br /> <br />Shelving is needed in the emergency equipment room, <br />soiled utility room, and clean utility room. This should be <br />easy to remedy after discussing specific shelving needs <br />with the medical staff. AlSo, according to medical staff, <br />the clean utility room should have been equipped with a <br />sink and a counter for the autoclave. <br /> <br />Delta Pod, as well as the other housing areas, was <br />clean, orderly, and quiet. The problem with the wood cell <br />doors sticking has been eliminated and there are no <br />problems with vandalism, graffiti or plugging of drains <br />and toilets. There have been a few inmate complaints <br />about telephone calls not going through and not having <br />items they want in the commissary vending machines. <br />The only staff complaint is that the dayroom bulletin <br />board is not big enough for everything that needs to be <br />posted. <br /> <br />An indication of how well inmate behaviors are <br />controlled, every inmate had their ZD card either stuck in <br />their door while in their cell or on their person while in <br />the dayroom.
