<br />Commission Minutes--October 21,2002 2523 <br /> <br />8. OMITTED ASSESSMENTS, Approved <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Wagner moved and Mrs. Schneider seconded to add Lots 12 and 13 <br />Block 5, Charles A. Roberts Addition to the City of Fargo, as omitted <br />property for 2002 In the amount of $29,900, according to notice sent from <br />the county auditor to Arnold Kuhn of Fargo, North Dakota. On roll call <br />vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Wagner moved and Mrs. Schneider seconded to add Lot 1 Block 2, <br />Anderson Park Addition to the City of Fargo, as omitted property for 2002 <br />in the amount of $72,600, according to notice sent from the county <br />auditor to Anderson Park Joint Venture, LLP of Fargo, North Dakota. On <br />roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />9. HOLIDAY CLEARING BUREAU, Employee solicitation allowed for clothing Items <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Wagner moved and Mrs. Schneider seconded to allow the solicitation <br />of clothing items from Cass County employees to be given to the Holiday <br />Clearing Bureau for distribution to needy adults. On roll call vote, the <br />motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />10. INFORMATION SERVICES, Replacement of AS400 computer <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Wagner moved and Mrs. Schneider seconded to authorize the county <br />auditor to issue and sign a purchase order for the purchase of a <br />replacement AS400 computer with the low bidder, High Plains <br />Technology, in the amount of $232,804.00. On roll call vote, the motion <br />carried unanimously. <br /> <br />11. PLAT APPROVAL, Final plat of E & J Estates Subdivision <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Wagner moved and Mrs. Schneider seconded to grant final plat <br />approval and approve the related variance request from the county road <br />standards for E & J Estates Subdivision, Sections 34-137-51 in Cass <br />County, North Dakota. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />12. HIGHWAY DEPARTMENT, Purchase order for fabric-covered salt buildinQ <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Wagner moved and Mrs. Schneider seconded to authorize the <br />chairman to sign a purchase order in the amount of $72,495.92 for the <br />construction of a fabric-covered, 70'x120' salt storage building, with <br />Accu-Steel Buildings, Inc. of Templeton, IA. On roll call vote, the motion <br />carried unanimously. <br /> <br />13. SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT, Public hearinq on law enforcement block grant funds <br />Glenn Ellingsberg, Sheriff's Department, said this is the date, time and place advertised for <br />the purpose of receiving public input on the expenditure of 2002 Law Enforcement Block <br />Grant Funds. <br />
