Following a request from County Auditor Ordelle Brua, Mr. Eckert <br />moved and Mrs. Stanton seconded to approve the hiring of temporary <br />help in Pay Grade 3 in the amount of $850.00 to $900.00 per month <br />for six months to be reviewed at the end of that time. On roll call <br />vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br />Mrs. Stanton moved and Mr. Eckert seconded to reappoint Mr. John <br />Heuer for a five -year term effective July 1, 1987, to the Cass County <br />Housing Authority. Motion carried. <br />Following the presentation of a LEASE AGREEMENT between Cass <br />County and the State Tax Commission Office for office space in the <br />northeast corner of the basement in the amount of $543.00 per month; <br />and a LEASE AGREEMENT between Cass County and the Attorney General's <br />Office for office space in the northeast corner of the basement in <br />the amount of $785.00 per month, Mr. Eckert moved and Mr. Sondrall <br />seconded to authorize the Chairman to sign the leases. On roll call <br />vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br />After receiving an agreement between the County and Reed Township <br />regarding the upgrading of a township road located near Section 30 <br />in lieu of the closing of the bridge between Section 19 and 30, Mr. <br />Eckert moved and Mr. Sondrall seconded to authorize the Chairman to <br />sign the agreement. On roll call vote, the motion carried <br />unanimously. <br />The Chairman declared a recess for the purpose of meeting as <br />the County Building Authority and upon reconvening, Mrs. Stanton moved <br />and Mr. Eckert seconded to approve Building Authority Action on <br />Disbursement Direction #25 in the amount of $91,838.30. On roll call <br />vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br />Mr. Eckert moved and Mrs Stanton seconded to authorize the County <br />Auditor to pay Partial Payment #18 for the South Wing Addition <br />Remodeling to T. F. Powers Construction in the amount of $7,182.00; <br />to West Fargo Plumbing Heating in the amount of $1,713.80; and to <br />Dakota Electric Company in the amount of $2,649.20. On roll call <br />vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br />Mrs. Stanton moved and Mr. Eckert seconded to authorize payment <br />for the South Wing Addition Remodeling to T. F. Powers Construction <br />for Partial Payment #14 in the amount of $2,900.00; and West Fargo <br />Plumbing Heating for Final Payment #19 in the amount of $7,418.55; <br />and to Dakota Electric Construction Company for Final Payment #14 <br />in the amount of $655.00 with the checks being held by the County <br />Auditor until a written notice for a release has been sent. On roll <br />call vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br />After receiving a document from Professional Building Services <br />for the cleaning of the Courthouse, Mrs. Stanton moved and Mr. Eckert <br />seconded to authorize the Chairman to sign the document. Upon roll <br />call vote, the motion carried with Mr. Wieland, Mr. Eckert and Mrs. <br />Stanton voting "Yes and Mr. Sondrall voting "No <br />
