REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY COMMISSIONERS JULY 22, 1986 Chairman Alon Wieland called the meeting to order and upon roll call, four members were present with Mr. Larson being absent. Mrs. Stanton moved and Mr Eckert seconded to approve the minutes of the previous meeting as corrected. Motion carried. Commissioner Stanton reported on the seminar that was held in Devils Lake, North Dakota, on July 14, 1986, regarding the liability insurance for recreational areas and parks. Since we have Brewer Lake and other parks in the County for public use, a meeting with the insurance agent would be beneficial to find the status for liability insurance. Upon the request of the States Attorney's Office, Mrs. Stanton moved and Mr. Eckert seconded to authorize the States Attorney and his assistants to travel out -of -state to Detroit Lakes, Minnesota, for a seminar to be held July 23, 24 and 25, 1986. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. Mr. Eckert moved and Mr. Sondrall seconded to receive and file the letter from the National Association of Counties. Motion carried. Mr. Scott Krueger, Administrative Assistant, will send out a memo to department heads requesting a list of requirements that are federally funded and requires them to spend money. Upon the request of the Cass County Road Department, Mr. Eckert moved and Mrs. Stanton seconded to authorize the Chairman to sign a utility permit for an underground cable on County Road #26 to the county line by the Intercommunity Telephone Company from Nome, North Dakota. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. The following bids were received for bridge work in Casselton Township from the County Road Department: Dakota Builders, Inc.
