The following bids were received for road work on County Road <br />6 from Chaffee east to State Highway 18 from the County Road Department: <br />Jenson Brothers $204,716.39 <br />Lien Construction Co. $284,701.00 <br />Strom Construction Co. $237,353.60 <br />Mr. Eckert moved and Mrs. Stanton seconded that the above bids <br />be referred to the County Engineer for tabulation and recommendation. <br />Motion carried. <br />The Board recessed for the tabulation and the recommendation <br />of the bids by the County Engineer. Upon reconvening, Mr. Eckert <br />moved and Mrs. Stanton seconded to accept the offer for the sale of <br />the County Shop at Chaffee, North Dakota, to Mr. C. James Jensen, <br />Chaffee, North Dakota, in the amount of $1,500.00 to be deposited <br />in the County General Fund. On roll call vote, the motion carried <br />unanimously. <br />Mrs. Stanton moved and Mr. Eckert seconded to award the road <br />work contract to Jenson Brothers, Wheatland, North Dakota, in the <br />amount of $204,716.39. On roll call vote, the motion carried <br />unanimously. <br />Mr. Eckert moved and Mrs. Stanton seconded to award the bridge <br />contract to Wanzek Construction Company of Fargo in the amount of <br />$127,440.70. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br />On motion by Mrs. Stanton and seconded by Mr. Eckert, the meeting <br />was adjourned. <br />
