Registry. Motion carried. Mr. Scott Krueger presented three finance options for Road Department computer equipment. Mr. Larson moved and Mrs. Stanton seconded that the County accept Option 3 of the Norwest Lease, upon the condition that there will be no pre payment penalty after 36 months. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. A bid opening was held at 10:00 A.M. for Cass County Courthouse North Wing Remodeling. Architects Iry Holman and Richard Moorhead were present to read the bids. The following bids were received for general construction on the above project: Base Bid Advance Structures, Inc. $111,750.00 Comstock Construction, Inc. 131,800.00 J. E. Krieg Sons, Inc. 119,000.00 Meinecke- Johnson Company 106,900.00 T. F. Powers Construction Company 106,900.00 Roers' Construction, Inc. 116,500.00 Stoutland Construction, Inc. 119,700.00 D. C. Trautman Company 116,300.00 A bid for the mechanical construction from Home Heating and Air Conditioning Company did not indicate their contractor's license number on the outside of the envelopes as stated in the bidding specifications. Robert Hoy, States Attorney, stated that the Commission may make a decision to waive the requirement. A representative from Home Heating and Air Conditioning Company was present and stated that the license renewal certificate is enclosed in the bid envelope. Mr. Larson moved and Mrs. Stanton seconded to proceed with opening the bid envelope. The motion carried on roll call vote with four members voting "Aye Mr. Wieland opposing. The following bids were read for mechanical construction: Robert Gibb Sons $24,747.00 Grant's Mechanical 22,946.00 Laney's, Inc. 30,000.00 Manning Mechanical 23,797.00 Peterson Mechanical 26,445.00 West Fargo Plumbing Heating 23,480.00 Home Heating Air Conditioning Company 23,377.00 A bid for the electrical construction from C.B. Electric did not indicate their contractor's license number on the outside of the envelope. Mr. Larson moved and Mrs. Stanton seconded to proceed with opening the bid envelope. The motion carried on roll call vote with four members voting "Aye Mr. Wieland opposing. The Architect found that no certificate of license renewal was contained inside the bid envelope. Mr. Eckert moved and Mrs. Stanton seconded to discontinue opening the bid of C.B. Electric. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously.
