Registry. Motion carried. <br />Mr. Scott Krueger presented three finance options for Road <br />Department computer equipment. Mr. Larson moved and Mrs. Stanton <br />seconded that the County accept Option 3 of the Norwest Lease, upon <br />the condition that there will be no pre payment penalty after 36 <br />months. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br />A bid opening was held at 10:00 A.M. for Cass County Courthouse <br />North Wing Remodeling. Architects Iry Holman and Richard Moorhead <br />were present to read the bids. <br />The following bids were received for general construction on <br />the above project: <br />Base Bid <br />Advance Structures, Inc. $111,750.00 <br />Comstock Construction, Inc. 131,800.00 <br />J. E. Krieg Sons, Inc. 119,000.00 <br />Meinecke- Johnson Company 106,900.00 <br />T. F. Powers Construction Company 106,900.00 <br />Roers' Construction, Inc. 116,500.00 <br />Stoutland Construction, Inc. 119,700.00 <br />D. C. Trautman Company 116,300.00 <br />A bid for the mechanical construction from Home Heating and Air <br />Conditioning Company did not indicate their contractor's license <br />number on the outside of the envelopes as stated in the bidding <br />specifications. Robert Hoy, States Attorney, stated that the <br />Commission may make a decision to waive the requirement. A <br />representative from Home Heating and Air Conditioning Company was <br />present and stated that the license renewal certificate is enclosed <br />in the bid envelope. Mr. Larson moved and Mrs. Stanton seconded to <br />proceed with opening the bid envelope. The motion carried on roll <br />call vote with four members voting "Aye Mr. Wieland opposing. The <br />following bids were read for mechanical construction: <br />Robert Gibb Sons $24,747.00 <br />Grant's Mechanical 22,946.00 <br />Laney's, Inc. 30,000.00 <br />Manning Mechanical 23,797.00 <br />Peterson Mechanical 26,445.00 <br />West Fargo Plumbing Heating 23,480.00 <br />Home Heating Air Conditioning Company 23,377.00 <br />A bid for the electrical construction from C.B. Electric did <br />not indicate their contractor's license number on the outside of the <br />envelope. Mr. Larson moved and Mrs. Stanton seconded to proceed with <br />opening the bid envelope. The motion carried on roll call vote with <br />four members voting "Aye Mr. Wieland opposing. The Architect found <br />that no certificate of license renewal was contained inside the bid <br />envelope. Mr. Eckert moved and Mrs. Stanton seconded to discontinue <br />opening the bid of C.B. Electric. On roll call vote, the motion <br />carried unanimously. <br />
