Motion carried.
Administrative Assistant Scott Krueger stated that Vernon
Solien, consulting engineer, reported that the roof of the Juvenile
Justice Center was designed to carry 100 pound live load, which is
more than adequate for a suggested solution to the problem of water
leaking into the building. The States Attorney will be consulted
on whether the County needs to advertise for bids for the project.
Mr. Larson suggested delaying the roof repair at this time because
adding more floors on the Juvenile Center may be a consideration for
the proposed combined law enforcement center.
Mrs. Stanton moved and Mr Larson seconded that the County Auditor
be authorized to pay the bill to Twin City Testing in the amount of
$975.00 for work in the Courthouse third floor law library. On roll
call vote, the motion carried unanimously.
