Bids were received for gasoline from the following: Dan's Oil and Service Farstad Oil, Inc. Bids were received for asphalt products and for equipment rental from the following: Northern Improvement Company F -M Asphalt, Inc. Swanston Equipment Company Christianson Asphalt Products Triton Corporation of Jamestown Bids were received for corrugated metal culverts from the following: BaTech, Inc. Fargo Culvert Company H.V. Johnston Culvert Company Bids were received for concrete culverts from the following: Hancock Concrete Products Company North Dakota Concrete Products Company Concrete Sectional Culvert Company Bids were received for bridge materials from the following: North Dakota Concrete Products Company Wheeler Lumber Operations BaTech, Inc. Mrs. Stanton moved and Mr. Larson seconded to receive all of the above bids and refer to the County Engineer and Road Department for tabulation and recommendation. Motion carried. Administrative Assistant Scott Krueger stated that Vernon Solien, consulting engineer, reported that the roof of the Juvenile Justice Center was designed to carry 100 pound live load, which is more than adequate for a suggested solution to the problem of water leaking into the building. The States Attorney will be consulted on whether the County needs to advertise for bids for the project. Mr. Larson suggested delaying the roof repair at this time because adding more floors on the Juvenile Center may be a consideration for the proposed combined law enforcement center. Mrs. Stanton moved and Mr Larson seconded that the County Auditor be authorized to pay the bill to Twin City Testing in the amount of $975.00 for work in the Courthouse third floor law library. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously.
