THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the governing board of Cass County, North Dakota, ardently condemns cowardly and pointless acts of hate crimes. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the governing board of Cass County, North Dakota, encourages citizens to be vigilant, but not vigilantes, in their efforts to help and heal. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, the governing board of Cass County, North Dakota, condemns all acts of lawlessness and supports the President of the United States, as he works with his national security team to defend the United States of America against terrorism. SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT, 2001 CoPs More Grant Award MOTION, passed Mrs. Schneider moved and Mr. Wagner seconded to authorize the chairman to sign the 2001 Cops More Grant award. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. The funds will be utilized to purchase equipment for video arraignments that will provide opportunities to reduce the need to transport inmates from the jail to the courthouse. r' 6. - LOST INSTRUMENT BONDS, Received and filed for Bell Township and Steve Mottinaer MOTION, passed Mrs. Schneider moved and Mr. Wagner seconded to receive and file Indemnity Bonds on Lost Instrument for Bell Township and for Steve Mottinger; and authorize the county treasurer and the county auditor to issue duplicate checks. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. 7. OMITTED ASSESSMENTS, Approved for Bullinaer Enterprises MOTION, passed Mrs. Schneider moved and Mr. Wagner seconded to add the West 230.87' of Lot 2, Block 2, Heartland 1st Addition to the City of Casselton as omitted property for 2001 in the amount of $16,400 additional commercial structure value, prorated three-month assessment, according to notice sent from the county auditor to Bullinger Enterprises, Ltd., Fargo, North Dakota. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously.
