<br />5. <br /> <br />r- <br /> <br />Commission Minutes--September 17, 2001 2349 <br /> <br />DISASTER EMERGENCY SERVICES, Budaet adiustment aooroved <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Wieland moved and Mr. Wagner seconded to approve the budget <br />adjustment for two projects, a computer projector and a weapons of <br />mass destruction exercise, to increase the expenditure line items of <br />101-3503-421.74-01 by $1,914.50 and 101-3503-421.57-04 by <br />$12,497.50, and to increase the revenue line item of 101-3503-331.55- <br />03 by $14,412.00. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />6. QUIT CLAIM DEED, Old Hiahwav 18 riaht-of-wav <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Wieland moved and Mr. Wagner seconded to authorize the <br />chairman to sign a Quit Claim Deed to the Dalrymple Trust for old <br />Highway 18 right-of-way, according to a letter from Attorney John C. <br />Irby, dated August 28, 2001. On roll call vote, the motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />7. PERMIT FOR RAFFLE, Aooroved for Norman Lutheran Church WELCA <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Wieland moved and Mr. Wagner seconded to approve a raffle <br />permit for Norman Lutheran Church WELCA to be held December 16, <br />2001, at the Norman Lutheran Church in Kindred, North Dakota. On <br />roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />r' <br /> <br />8. LOST INSTRUMENT BOND, Received and filed for Millie Penuel <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Wieland moved and Mr. Wagner seconded to receive and file the <br />Indemnity Bond on Lost Instrument for Millie Penuel, and authorize <br />the county treasurer and the county auditor to issue a duplicate <br />check. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />9. CONTRACT APPROVAL, Dakota Bridae Builders. Inc. <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Wieland moved and Mr. Wagner seconded to approve the <br />following contract submitted by respective department head, subject <br />to state's attorney approval, and authorize the chairman to sign: On <br />roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />/'""' <br /> <br />Dakota Bridge Builders, Inc.--Cass County Highway 11 slide repair project in the <br />amount of $139,557.00. <br /> <br />10. <br /> <br />BUDGET, Public hearina on 2002 county budaet <br />A public hearing was advertised for this date, time and place on the 2002 Cass County budget. <br />Michael Montplaisir, County Auditor, provided some background information on the time line of <br />the budget process. Budget requests were due August 1 st from all county departments and <br />outside agencies seeking funding. Each commissioner received a copy of the preliminary <br />budget on August 13th, and budget meetings were held during that week. The preliminary <br />budget was approved on August 20th. A notice to taxpayers of today's budget hearing was <br />published in the county's official newspaper on August 27,2001. <br />
