<br />Commission Minutes--September 4,2001 2347 <br /> <br />13. BUILDINGS AND GROUNDS; JAIL UPDATE; SUBDIVISION REVIEW; NORTH DAKOTA <br />ASSOCIATION OF COUNTIES/COUNTY COMMISSIONERS CONVENTION, Committee <br />,---- reDorts <br />Bonnie Johnson, County Coordinator, updated Commissioners on the Annex parking lot <br />improvements. She said the asphalt is scheduled for the week of September 17th. <br /> <br />Mrs. Johnson said a revised jail construction schedule is due from the general contractor this <br />Friday, and she will continue to update the board as information is received. She said the <br />project continues to be behind schedule, as it has been from the beginning. <br /> <br />Mr. Meyer said the County Subdivision Review Committee, mentioned earlier today, will consist <br />of the following members: Vernon Muscha, Stanley Township; Doug Christianson, Pleasant <br />Township; Gene Johnson, Reed Township; Mark Thelen, Southeast Cass Water Resource <br />Board; Jean Rayl, Cass County Planning Commission; Keith Berndt, County Engineer; Joel <br />Quanbeck, County Planner; Alon Wieland and Robyn Sorum, County Commissioners. <br /> <br />Mr. Meyer said he has agreed to serve on the Resolutions Committee for the North Dakota <br />Association of Counties and County Commissioners Convention. The annual event will be held <br />in Fargo at the Doublewood Inn on October 7-9,2001. <br /> <br />14. CORRESPONDENCE, Received and filed <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Wieland moved and Mrs. Schneider seconded to receive and file <br />correspondence outlined by the secretary as follows: Motion carried. <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />information from North Dakota Department of Transportation concerning Transportation <br />Enhancement Project applications and agenda information for the annual County Road <br />Advisors' Conference in Rapid City on October 17 and 18; <br /> <br />letter from Minn-Kota Chapter of the American Red Cross requesting the Commission <br />Chairman to serve on a Grant Advisory Committee to implement and oversee a new <br />grant mitigation program. <br /> <br />15.
