<br />.---.. <br /> <br />15. <br /> <br />16. <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />Commission Minutes--August 20, 2001 2343 <br /> <br />with the County Engineer serving as chairman: On roll call vote, the <br />motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />- Two County Commissioners--Robyn Sorum, Alon Wieland <br />- Three township representatives (one each from Reed, Stanley, Pleasant) <br />- One representative of the Southeast Cass Water Resource Board <br />- County Engineer Keith Berndt <br />- County Planner Joel Quanbeck <br />- One representative of the County Planning Commission <br /> <br />VOUCHERS, ADDroved <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mrs. Schneider moved and Mr. Wagner seconded to approve Voucher <br />No. 155,435 through No. 156,012. On roll call vote, the motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />BUILDINGS AND GROUNDS; ELECTIONS; BUDGETS, Committee reDorts <br />Bonnie Johnson, County Coordinator, reported that parking lot reconstruction at the Annex has <br />begun, with the anticipated completion date of October 15th. She provided copies of a bid <br />advertisement for the fourth floor annex remodeling project, with bids to be awarded at the <br />September 17th Commission meeting. Mrs. Johnson also reported that she attended a court <br />technology seminar in Baltimore last week. <br /> <br />Mr. Montplaisir said it is soon time to renew election contracts with cities in the county, and he <br />suggested scheduling public input meetings with area cities, as suggested by the government <br />task force which met last year. <br /> <br />Concerning budget meetings held last week, Mr. Montplaisir thanked Commissioners for taking <br />time to meet with each department head and outside agency representatives. Mr. Meyer said <br />he wishes to thank department heads for their cooperation during the budget process. <br /> <br />17. CORRESPONDENCE, Received and filed <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mrs. Schneider moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to receive and file <br />correspondence outlined by the secretary as follows: letter from <br />Mable Denis, Horace, regarding property taxes and from Orville Iwen, <br />Amenia, regarding flooding and taxes. Motion carried. <br /> <br />18.
