<br />Commission Minutes--July 23,2001 2316 <br /> <br />Mrs. Johnson updated Commissioners on progress of the jail project. She publicly thanked Gail <br />Gabrielson, from the Cass County Reporter in Casselton, for her photographs ofthe jail project, <br />which are now on the County's website. <br /> <br />Commissioner Wieland said he plans to meet informally each month with the Jail Transition <br />Team. Also, he reported on the National Association of Counties Convention, which he <br />attended recently on behalf of the North Dakota Association of Counties. <br /> <br />16. CORRESPONDENCE, Received and filed <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mrs. Schneider moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to receiye and file <br />correspondence outlined by the secretary as follows: Motion carried. <br /> <br />letters from United States Congressmen Byron Dorgan and Earl Pomeroy to John Meyer, <br />Commission Chairman, regarding the Maple River Dam project; <br />letter from Kristi Marks, 1220 76th Avenue South, Fargo, regarding 76th Avenue bridge <br />corridor study. <br /> <br />17.
