<br />Commission Minutes--June 4, 2001 2289 <br /> <br />r- DEPARTMENT HEADS--PLEASE POST IN A CONSPICUOUS PLACE FOR STAFF TO READ <br /> <br />REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />JUNE 4, 2001 <br /> <br />1. MEETING TO ORDER <br />Chairman John Meyer called the meeting to order at 3:30 PM with all members present as <br />follows: Donna Schneider, Alon Wieland, Scott Wagner, Robyn Sorum and John Meyer. <br /> <br />2. MINUTES APPROVED <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Wieland moved and Mrs. Schneider seconded that the minutes of <br />the previous meeting be approved as written. Motion carried. <br /> <br />-- <br /> <br />-. <br /> <br />3. <br /> <br />AGENDA, Order approved <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Wagner moved and Mrs. Schneider seconded to approve the order <br />of the agenda with the following additions: 1) amended contract with <br />State Water Commission; 2) lease renewal with Barry and Carolyn <br />Olander on a flood lot in Heritage Hills Estate; 3) special event permit <br />for Bordertown Bar & Grill; and 4) County Deed to John and Mary <br />Mrozla for the purchase of a tax-delinquent lot. Motion carried. <br /> <br />4. ABATEMENT APPLICATION, Approved for Leslie Johnson Aldrich <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Wieland moved and Mrs. Sorum seconded that abatement #4189 <br />for Leslie Johnson Aldrich be set at $215,000, as recommended by the <br />Director of Equalization. On roll call vote, the motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />5. SALE OF TAX-DELINQUENT LOT, County Deed to Kurt & Karla Bancroft <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Wieland moved and Mrs. Sorum seconded to authorize the <br />chairman and the county auditor to sign a County Deed to Kurt & <br />Karla Bancroft for the purchase of tax-forfeited property described as <br />Lot 22, Lake Shure Estates. On roll call vote, the motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />6. <br /> <br />PERMIT FOR SITE AUTHORIZATION, Approved for Red River Human Services Foundation <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Wieland moved and Mrs. Sorum seconded to grant a site <br />authorization permit to conduct games of chance under license <br />issued by the North Dakota Attorney General's Office for the period <br />of July 1, 2001 through June 30, 2002, for Red River Human Services <br />Foundation at the Wild Rice Bar and Grill, Wild Rice, North Dakota. <br />On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br />
