~ Commission Minutes--ApriI16, 2001 2270 NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners declares a disaster and orders the continuation of the utilization of the Cass County Emergency Operations Plan, its procedures, attachments and appendices to recover from the situation, develop a detailed damage assessment, reduce hardship and initiate appropriate relief actions and mitigation measures by departments and agencies of local government to limit the hardships and impact of this emergency upon the citizens of Cass County. Dated at Fargo, North Dakota, this 16th day of April, 2001. 5. ROAD DEPARTMENT, Purchase order for comDactor and Dlaner attachment MOTION, passed Mr. Wagner moved and Mrs. Schneider seconded to authorize the chairman to sign a purchase order for a 13 wheel pneumatic compactor from Swanston Equipment Company in the amount of $8,795.00. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. MOTION, passed Mr. Wagner moved and Mrs. Schneider seconded to authorize the chairman to sign a purchase order for a 24" planer attachment for the skidsteer loader from Swanston Equipment Company in the amount of $10,850.00. PERMITS FOR SITE AUTHORIZATION, ADDroved for Veterans Inc.: Erie Leaion: West Farao VFW: National Multiple Sclerosis Society-Dakota ChaDter MOTION, passed Mr. Wagner moved and Mrs. Schneider seconded to grant site authorization permits to conduct games of chance under license issued by North Dakota Attorney General's Office for the period of July 1,2001 through June 30, 2002 as follows: Veterans Incorporated at Club 94 and Bronco Bar; Arthur W. Jones post 7564 at the Red River Valley Fairgrounds; Dokken & Schroeder Post #223 at the Erie American Legion Hall; and National Multiple Sclerosis Society-Dakota Chapter at Wild Rice Bar and Grill. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. 7. COUNTY DEED, Chairman and auditor to sian corrective deed to Keith Onstad MOTION, passed Mr. Wagner moved and Mrs. Schneider seconded to authorize the chairman and the county auditor to sign a corrective county deed to Keith Onstad for the purpose of correcting the legal description in a previously recorded county deed. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. -- 8.
