12. ~ Commission Minutes--January 2, 2001 2226 PERSONNEL OVERVIEW COMMITTEE, Ratify action of November 20. 2000 MOTION, passed Mr. Wieland moved and Mrs. Schneider seconded to ratify Personnel Overview Committee action of November 20, 2000, approving the Clerk of Court step increase plan due to the uniqueness of the situation with the office being taken over by the State of North Dakota in April, 2001. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. 13. LOST INSTRUMENT BOND, Received and filed for Avis Bera: John Albrecht MOTION, passed Mr. Wieland moved and Mrs. Schneider seconded to receive and file Indemnity Bonds on Lost Instrument for Avis Berg and for John Albrecht, and authorize the county treasurer and the county auditor to issue duplicate checks. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. 14. ,-,. PRAIRIE PUBLIC BROADCASTING, Letter of support for the oroiect MOTION, passed Mr. Wieland moved and Mrs. Schneider seconded to provide letter of support to Prairie Public Broadcasting indicating compliance with Cass County's Comprehensive Land Use Plan, which will be submitted with their grant application for a special rural business enterprise and television demonstration project. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. 15. CDBG LOAN, Authorize chairman to sian Satisfaction of Mortaaae MOTION, passed Mr. Wieland moved and Mrs. Schneider seconded to authorize the chairman to sign Satisfaction of Mortgage concerning Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) loan for Scott and Cindy Bakko, Kindred, North Dakota. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. 16. TREASURER, Authorization to apooint county staff to assist with weddina ceremonies MOTION, passed Mr. Wieland moved and Mrs. Schneider seconded to authorize County Treasurer Charlotte Sandvik to appoint deputies within her office and other county offices, subject to approval of the appropriate official in that office, for the limited purpose of performing marriage-related services; and that written oaths of office for said deputies be filed in the office of the Cass County Auditor. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. 17. ~ BUDGET ADJUSTMENTS, Aporoved from 2000 budaet MOTION, passed Mr. Wieland moved and Mrs. Schneider seconded to approve the budget adjustments for 2000 as outlined by the County Auditor in a letter to the Board of County Commissioners dated December 20, 2000. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously.
