City of Mapleton for police service; Ottmar and Ottmar Law Firm for mental health public defender; Steven Mottinger and Mark Beauchene for public defender; Microvest, Inc. for public information inquiry agreement for remote access to county computer system; F-M Metropolitan Council of Governments 2001 pass-through contract for Cass County Highway 17 corridor study from West Fargo to Horace; Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad agreement to install a concrete crossing on Cass County Highway 20, to be coordinated with the County Highway 20 paving project; North Dakota Department ofTransportation Memorandum of Agreementfor Cass County Highway 16 bridge removal procedure; Cultural Resource Historians for completion of Level II Historic American Engineering documentation for the Cass County Highway 16 bridge; Fargo Cass Public Health for home health aide services; Southeast Human Services for respite care; North Dakota Department of Human Services for reimbursement of costs of interpretation services; Cass County Abstract company for public information inquiry agreement for remote access to county computer system. LOCAL GOVERNANCE ADVISORY COMMITTEE 2000, Presentation of final reoort David Martin and Wayne McKelvey were present to submit the final report of the Cass County Local Governance Advisory Committee. The other three members serving on this committee were Senator Judy Lee, Bill Pietsch and Charlotte Sandvik. The group held their organizational meeting May 24, 2000, and prepared the final report last month. Mr. Martin served as chairman ofthe advisory committee, and he briefly outlined the steps taken in the study process. He thanked the Commission for the opportunity to study county government, with a special thanks to county department heads and staff, and particularly to Michael Montplaisir, Bonnie Johnson and Joyce Schepp, who assisted in the process.
