<br />Commission Minutes--August 21, 2000 2178 <br /> <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Wieland moved and Mrs. Schneider seconded to add part of the <br />SW1/40fSection 33, Township 137, Range 50 in Normanna Township <br />as omitted property for 2000 in the amount of $8,600 residential <br />structures, according to notice sent from the county auditor to Robert <br />& Tammy Schmidt, Kindred, North Dakota. On roll call vote, motion <br />carried unanimously. <br /> <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Wieland moved and Mrs. Schneider seconded to add part of the <br />NE 1/4 of Section 31, Township 143, Range 54 in the City of Page as <br />omitted property for 2000 in the amount of $95,000 residential <br />structures, according to notice sent from the county auditor to Daniel <br />Garnas, Page, North Dakota. On roll call vote, motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />10. EXTENSION SERVICE PARENTING RESOURCE CENTER, Grant continuation with the <br />North Dakota Department of Human Services <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Wieland moved and Mrs. Schneider seconded that the Parenting <br />Resource Center Program for August 1, 2000 through June 30, 2001, <br />be implemented according to the grant guidelines; and that Cass <br />County Extension Service work with the County Auditor's Office to <br />amend the budget for the program. On roll call vote, motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />11. SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT, Traffic Safety Grant with North Dakota Department of <br />Transportation and related budget amendment approved <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Wieland moved and Mrs. Schneider seconded to approve a <br />contract with the North Dakota Department of Transportation in the <br />amount of $12,000.00 for occupant protection and other traffic safety <br />enforcement by the Sheriff's Office. On roll call vote, motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Wieland moved and Mrs. Schneider seconded to amend the <br />Sheriff's budget by increasing revenue line item 101-3501-331.55-05 <br />in the amount of $7,400.00 for 2000 and $4,600.00 for 2001; and <br />increasing expenditure line item 101-3502-421.10-36 in the amount of <br />$4,200.00 for 2000 and $3,300.00 for 2001. On roll call vote, motion <br />carried unanimously. <br /> <br />12.
