Item No. 6 Item No. 7 Item No.8 Item No.9 Item No. 10 ASPHALT BASE COURSE 3" The unit price bid shall be considered full compensation for furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to place one (1) square yard of three inch thick asphalt base course as called for in and in accordance with the plans and specifications. This work shall include, but not be limited to, controlling traffic, keeping receiving surface clean during construction, submitting job mix, submitting of material samples, furnishing bituminous mixture in the quantity and quality required, and placing and compacting bituminous mixture. Final payment shall be based on section dimensions set forth in the plans and field measurements of actual length of new roadway. No separate payment shall be made for oil in the mixture. Payment will be adjusted per Section 01800 part 2.30 for thickness not meeting specifications. TACK COAT The unit price bid shall be considered full compensation for furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to spread one (1) gallon of tack as called for in and in accordance with the plans and specifications. This work shall include, but not be limited to, controlling traffic, cleaning of surface to be tacked, protecting surfaces not to be tacked from overspray, keeping surface clean and clear of debris before placement of the tack coat, furnishing and spreading tack material. Final payment shall be as per Section 1900 of the specifications and verified by tank measurement. GRAVEL - NDDOT CLASS 5 The unit price bid shall be considered full compensation for furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to place one (1) ton of NDDOT Class 5 compacted in place as called for in and in accordance with the plans and specifications. This work shall include, but not be limited to, controlling traffic, providing gradations, providing testing samples, furnishing and installing base material, compacting, and grading to dimensions required. Final payment shall be based on certified weight tickets. GEOTEXTILE FABRIC The unit price bid shall be considered full compensation for furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to place one (1) square yard of geotextile fabric as called for in and in accordance with the plans and specifications. This work shall include, but not be limited to, furnishing geotextile of the type and quantity required, splicing and/or overlapping as required, and installing geotextile. Final payment shall be based on field measurement of length and width noted on typical section with no allowances for seams of overlaps. CULVERT - REMOVE EXISTING The unit price bid shall be considered full compensation for furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to remove and salvage one (1) linear foot of existing CMP culvert as called for in and in accordance with the plans and specifications. This work shall include, but not be limited to, protecting existing utilities, excavating, using reasonable care removing culvert, backfilling and compacting excavation with suitable materi<=ll, and disposing ot culvert if not used on other parts of the project. Final payment shall be based on field measurement along the invert of the pipe. Any culvert damaged by Contractor shall be repaired or replaced at no charge to Owner 2
