REINSTALLED SALVAGED The unit price bid shall be considered full compensation for furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to install one (1) linear foot of used CMP culvert as called for in and in accordance with the plans and specifications. This work shall include, but not be limited to, protecting existing utilities, excavating, preparing and grading of sub grade, furnishing and installing aggregate material for bedding and encasement, installing pipe, backfilling, compacting and grading. Final payment shall be based on field measurement along the invert of the pipe. SEEDING The unit price bid shall be considered full compensation for furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to fertilize, drill seed, and mulch one (1) square yard of area necessarily damaged by construction as called for in and in accordance with the plans and specifications. This work shall include, but not be limited to, protecting existing utilities, removing debris, grading, providing a 4" topsoil seed bed, scarifying topsoil to be seeded, furnishing and installing seed, fertilizer, and mulch, and watering area. Final payment shall be based on field measurements of properly seeded areas where growth has been established. Partial payment (75%) shall be made for areas where seed has been properly installed, but growth has not been established yet. invoices from a certified testing company. MATERIAL TESTING The unit price bid shall be considered full compensation for furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to provide material testing on a lump sum basis as called for in and in accordance with the plans and specifications. This work shall include, but not be limited to, contracting with a certified testing laboratory, notifying testing laboratory of work progress and scheduling tests, getting test results to the engineer, rescheduling failing tests, forwarding invoices of testing laboratory. Final payment shall be based on invoices from a certified testing company. Any failing tests shall not be eligible for payment and shall be paid by the contractor. 3
