<br />Commission Minutes--March 7, 2005 2871 <br /> <br />Mrs. Sorum said information has been sent to Cass County high schools regarding the Cass <br />County Youth Commission program, which will officially begin during County Government <br />Week. A press release was sent to the North Dakota Association of Counties and to the <br />National Association of Counties to note the event during the annual celebration of counties. <br /> <br />Mr. Vanyo said he attended the first meeting of the Metropolitan Council of Government's <br />expansion committee. The council may be expanded to include the area cities of Harwood, <br />Glyndon and Horace; and they would initially be ex officio members. <br /> <br />Mr. Vanyo will be in Bismarck tomorrow testifying against Senate Bill 2301, which relates to <br />changing the child support enforcement from counties to a state-administered program. <br /> <br />16. CORRESPONDENCE, Received and filed <br />MOT/ON, passed <br />Mrs. Sorum moved and Mr. Bennett seconded to receive and file <br />correspondence outlined by the secretary as follows: Motion carried. <br /> <br />North Dakota Department of Transportation providing information and opportunity to <br />comment on a highway improvement project being planned on Highway 10 (Main Street) <br />within the City of West Fargo; <br />information from City of Fargo Planning Commission on two projects, Silverleaf Addition <br />and Growth Plan Amendment. <br /> <br />17.
