Mr. Whittlesey said their attorney, <br />Greg Selbo, could work with Mr. Burdick on insurances and any other <br />issues. At the call for the question and upon roll call vote, the motion <br />carried unanimously. <br /> <br />22. VOUCHERS, Approved <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Bennett moved and Mrs. Sorum seconded to approve Voucher No. <br />193,344 through No. 193,815. On roll call vote, the motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />23. MEETING UPDATES, Committee reports <br />Commissioners and staff reported on meetings they have attended in the past two weeks, <br />as well as upcoming meetings. <br /> <br />Mr. Wagner participated in a conference call last week of the North Dakota County <br />Commissioners Association relative to eminent domain. Also, he said the Orchard Glen and <br />Forest River hunting subcommittee is meeting tomorrow, December 21St, at 3:30 PM in the <br />Commission Room. <br /> <br />Mr. Bennett reported the Orchard Glen slide repair subcommittee met once, and another <br />meeting is scheduled for December 28th at 1 :30 PM in the Commission Room. <br /> <br />Mr. Montplaisir attended a meeting earlier today in Bismarck and returned with a check in <br />the amount of $156,721 as repayment for the election ballot counters purchased by Cass <br />County in 2002 and 2003. <br /> <br />24. CORRESPONDENCE, Received and filed <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mrs. Sorum moved and Mr. Bennett seconded to receive and file <br />correspondence outlined by the secretary as follows: Motion carried. <br /> <br />letter of resignation from the Housing Authority of Cass County Board of Directors <br />submitted by Ben Scholten of West Fargo, effective December 6, 2004; <br /> <br />notice to county auditor of a petition for variance to permit location of a structure at 2105 <br />5th Avenue South. Property owners within 300' of the property are being notified; <br /> <br />information from Lake Agassiz Regional Council to cities and counties in Region 5 on FY <br />2005 Community Development Block Grant Program and preapplication form. <br /> <br />25. EXECUTIVE MEETING, Attorney/client consultation <br />Mr. Vanyo read from today's meeting notice that the board of commissioners would meet in <br />executive session following their regular meeting for the purpose of attorney consultation <br />and/or negotiation to discuss the North Dakota Department of Agriculture v. Cass County <br />Administrative Complaint. <br />
