In addition, the inventory taken in the staging environment will be reviewed
against the final parcel fabric to ensure all the polygons migrated. Any
inconsistencies will be reviewed and corrective action taken.
• Additional Quality Assurance
In addition to the previously discussed checks and quality assurance measures
conducted during the post-load period, secondary quality assurance will be
performed to ensure full compliance with all project expectations and goals.
County Responsibilities/Assumptions:
1. It is assumed Cass County and PWA will communicate via telephone, email, and
web meetings.
2. It is assumed that PWA will not be creating any data.
3. It is assumed that PWA will not be editing any data spatially other than
performing standard checks and topology which can slightly alter the features.
4. It is assumed that any tabular edits performed by PWA are documented in the
Source to Target document and are necessary for an optimal migration.
5. The County will be responsible for providing the cleanest and most up-to-date
data to PWA at a scheduled time after the County's cut-off date and when all the
parcels have been updated.
6. The County will stop editing for the period of time between providing the data to
PWA and receiving the migrated data from PWA.
7. The County will be responsible for any data edits and updates that may arise
during the no-editing migration period.
8. Any changes to the migration workplan may constitute additional meetings,
work-arounds, and possibly additional time and/or cost to the County.
9. Cass County will set up the LGIM on its server.
10. Cass County staff will document schema needs for the parcel fabric and the
published locations of the parcel fabric features.
Pilot Area Development:
During Pilot Area Development option, a small portion of Cass County's data will be
migrated so that all scripts and the LGIM can be thoroughly tested and prepared prior to
the full migration of the data. Once the full migration and implementation of the final
data is complete, the County is ready to maintain and utilize the new data, geodatabase
and updated scripts.
B: Programming/Development Services:
To complete the overall migration, additional assistance is needed from the PWA
Programming Development staff to assist with tasks related to what happens to the data
once it is migrated. This will include the following services:
• Implementing / Uploading the migrated data into the correct location(s) in the
LGIM on Cass County's server.
8
