This wing will also need a large built in storage closet to house all of the 24/7 equipment to
include the PBT machine, the test tubes, drug patches, scram bracelets, and the required
paperwork.
A small detention cell within the lobby that houses a minimum of 3-4 people will be necessary to
house those participants that violate the program while they wait to have a Deputy pick them up
and bring them to booking. A few small benches with a handcuffing bar would be necessary in
this cell.
The vision is, when the participant walks into the center, there will be an approximately 100 ft.
hallway, double wide with a half wall right down the center of the hallway that the participants
will line up at, and round the corner to the testing desk. Next to the testing desk is the holding
cell, offices near the testing site, likely situated behind the testing desk, and just past the holding
cell is the exit door. Often times, bodies are severely
decomposed which poses difficulties for funeral homes. Bodies are also being stored in coolers
at funeral homes for various lengths of times, up to 2 weeks, while law enforcement looks for
next of kin. Funeral homes are burdened with these bodies, giving up space for their own
