CONSTITUTION AND BY-LAWS EL ZAGAL'S ESCORT MOTOR PATROL <br /> REVISED 12/12/2009 <br /> Camel Tales paper or subsequent publication. He or his appointee <br /> shall see that we are represented each and every month in this <br /> publication. <br /> Section 4. Treasurer: The Treasurer shall collect all monies due the organization and <br /> keep an accurate account of all monies received and disbursed. He shall deposit all <br /> monies received in a reliable depositary in the name of the organization and shall pay <br /> incurred bills. <br /> He shall be prepared to present a full report of receipts and expenditures at each unit <br /> meeting. <br /> Some of the additional responsibilities of the Treasurer are as follows: <br /> A. He shall prepare an annual budget forecasting expenditures and <br /> income for the current year and present such budget to the Director <br /> no later than 30 days after taking office. <br /> B. The Treasurer shall chair a fund raising committee that will explore <br /> the fund raising possibilities for that year by the Escort Motor Patrol. <br /> All monies raised by the fund-raisers are to be property of the Escort <br /> Motor Patrol and used at its discretion. <br /> C. The Treasurer shall be in charge of all monies raised by any and all <br /> unit fund raising efforts. <br /> D. The Treasurer shall chair a finance committee consisting of the <br /> Treasurer and two unit members in good standing in the unit. The <br /> two members will be appointed by the Director and approved by a <br /> majority vote of the membership. The finance committee shall <br /> monitor the current unit investments and when deemed necessary <br /> present alternative recommendations to the unit membership. <br /> Investments must be approved by a majority vote of the unit <br /> membership. <br /> Section5. Drill Captain: The Drill Captain shall see that the vehicles and uniforms are <br /> kept in a neat and presentable manner. He shall be responsible for encouraging and <br /> promoting as much participation as possible at Temple functions where good Escort <br /> Motor Patrol participation is essential. He will be in charge of the driving team practices <br /> and preparations for MSMCA competition. <br /> Section6. The Director, Drill Captain, and Assistant director acting as a committee will <br /> have the power to discipline any member for obnoxious behavior and may temporarily <br /> suspend such member until suitable action can be taken at the next following business <br /> meeting of the unit. <br /> ARTICLE VII <br /> Meetings <br /> Section 1. The annual meeting shall be held not earlier than November 15 nor later <br /> than December 15 of each calendar year. Officers elected at the annual Escort Motor <br />
